Update 10 April 2009: daidomon 50% promotion extended till 30 April 2009.
Just came back from Daidomon, one of my favourite eatery, this will be the third time i am there. Daidomon having BBQ buffet 50% off, promotion period 7 March 2009 – 6 April 2009.
Dinner Monday – Thursday &
Lunch on weekend/public holiday
Normal price:
RM68++ Adult
RM38++ Child 101-120cm
RM10++ Child 80-100cm
Above pic is me driving from Cyberjaya to city center, trafic jam, left office 5:30pm, arrive in Daidomon few minutes to 7pm, almost 1.5 hour for me to reach there.

agedashi tofu, not smooth enough
tempura prawn, looks oily
the lamb is really nice and tender
mixed platter of beef
deer/ostrich, i think it is deer, a bit tough
fresh shitake
mixed seafood platter(butter fish, squid, prawn, salmon, mackerel)
oyster to be cooked in the tin foil
big fresh scallop!!! this plate could easily cost RM10 if you order ala carte
prawn and beef tougue, both are nice
order again the oyster and scallop
some soup on buffet: egg soup, seaweed soup
sashimi
edamame, kimchi etc
salad
fruit cocktail and fresh fruits
some normal fare: sausage, curry, white rice etc
simple food: fish ball, fried rice, tempura prawn etc
snail meat? doesn’t taste nice
cooking oyster in tin foil
playing with the prawn
spooning… hahaha
cooking the big scallop, yumm
oxtail soup, very plain
spicy cod roe soup rice, not bad, i kinda like it
plum soup rice, a bit weird for me
fresh fruit
ice cream: berry swirl, green tea, melon, pistachio and vanilla
Overall, i think this buffet is worth the money, i just had my yearly dose of meat: beef, salmon, butter fish, scallop etc, the ingredients are really fresh and they taste good. Total for 2 person is RM80.50(RM68 + RM2(2 green teas) + taxes). Interesting to note, they were featured in 8TV Ho Chak before.

    This is the best authentic Japanese Yakiniku restaurant in Malaysia which I have tasted. The rest were mostly mixed with korean. XD

    See your table reminds me my session with them =.=” after eat, 1 week no touch beef. Had too much …. lol

    Wah! I not able to reserve la. Fully booked upon my ring to Daidomon. Saliva dripping seeing the big scallops

    Caroline: yep, it is cool to browse through food from different part of the world.

    pinkpainther: it is hard to reserve place now, try calling them one day before or the day you are suppose to go, that’s what i did too, ppl probably cancel their reservation last minute.
