part of the menu, for other items in menu, can refer to ~Live by giving, take by forgiving~. Indochine serves food from Thailand, Laos and Vietnam. This restaurant is located on the same row as Ole-Ole Bali and Dubrovnik in Solaris Mont Kiara.
First dish to arrive: Vietnamese Spring Roll(deep fried) a bit too oily
chicken with cashewnut
the obligatorily vege – kailan, vege fried by chinese tai chow is much better
sweet and sour prawn dish
otak-otak
Fried soft shell crab
Clear Tom Yam soup, very nice, the heat is mellow when you first sip but it intensify afterwards. Nice~
Tempura Squid
Thai Style Steamed Fish, nice, the soup base is probably the same as clear tomyam soup.
Songkhla Lemon Steamed Fish, very nice, better than the Thai Style Fish
eggplant
Seafood Otak-Otak in Fresh Coconut
a prawn dish
Claypot Tang Hoon Prawn, very nice, love the texture of well cooked tang hoon
squid salad
Choo Chee Fish
fried rice 1
pineapple fried rice, wonder why all there fried rice is slightly wet
fried rice 2
fried rice 3, we ordered all the 4 types of fried rice available
jelly fish salad
phad thai
non-spicy Thick Curry prawn, a bit weird with egg swirled in
another squid salad, basically we pick all the squid and left the salad :p
three flavoured Tau Foo
Pakapau NZ Mussel (with basil leaves) Enough jokes of mussel being big/small/tight/loose/lubricated etc… hahaha
Thap Thim Krob/red rubies, very nice, without the scarily bright red color.
Jackfruit jelly in fresh coconut, jackfruit is a good suprise element in this cooling coconut jelly, very nice
mango with glutinuous rice
Overall, a good place to hang out with a group of friends(there is totaled 9 of us in this trip) to savour everything available on the menu. And plus, i love the freshness available from ala-carte buffet, with everything piping hot when it reach the table. This buffet is RM54++(add up to RM59.50 per pax) Mon-Fri dinner or Sat&Sun(lunch and dinner), lunch is noon-2pm, dinner is 6pm-10:30pm. Children below 3 years FOC, 3-12yo RM27++.
