RSMY restaurant, famous among the Malays for their extra cheesy naan, available from 6pm onwards (although the restaurant open around 4pm onwards with briyani etc available), be sure to arrive slightly before 6pm to book a seat and it quickly fill up once 6pm approach

walking distance from Maju junction, parking can be hassle here, you might need to pay RM5 per entry parking just at the end of the road

look at the big glob of mozzarella cheese waiting to be wrapped into naan dough

The famous cheese naan, RM6; Dhall, RM4

It is extremely rich with cheese, by the end of one piece of these, you will feel really really full.

Side order of chickpea, just ok, RM4

Overall, it is like try once kinda eatery, it can get really filling with all the cheese, to the point of being uncomforable full, worth to try once though

The amazing deal i blogged about previously is no longer available. Now, RM12.90 only comes with a main & a drink, and no dessert.

The set which previously was only RM12.90 is now RM17.90

Fine print. However, it is not bad as it is nett price and valid everyday for lunch and dinner!

My tomyam meehoon, not bad, not oily at all which is a plus.

Complimentary red velvet from the owner recognizing us and perhaps sensing our disappointment that the previous deal is not not available anymore :) the cake is a bit dense, the icing however has a nice cream cheese flavor

RM17.80 per set (with normal clear soup)

or opt for their famous pork bone soup base for RM19.90 extra

2 person’s portion

Overall, i find their soup is salty and perhaps laden with MSG, Hoho steamboat is better

Glimpse of the menu before i was stopped taking photos of their menu

La Nordique, around RM35, made of i think buckwheat flour top with smoke salmon, serve with cream fraiche?! Taste not bad, although the middle got slightly soggy from the moisture of the salmon.

Salad that came with the pancake/crepe, with pine nut, beetroot etc

Shoestring Fries, RM10, just normal, wanted a more satisfying straight cut fries, explains my rounds of supermarket lusting over those fat straight cut fries from Lamb Weston

Just down the road from La Creperie is Nosh famed for their desserts

Valrhona Heaven, yummy chocolatey dessert, RM34, the chocolate tart based with bitter tartshell of cocoa aroma and smooth chocolate ganache filling.

Ode to Newton Vanilla Souffle in Bistro a Table and Recipe: Chocolate Souffle

Bistro a table is among the few restaurant in Kuala Lumpur which serve souffle, a dessert which looks so gloriously good due to its height and look so light. Above is their copyrighted Ode to Newton which is a vanilla souffle with custard and hot ginger drink top with some lemongrass ice halve with nutmeg ice cream, the ice cream is suppose to drop into the hot ginger drink once we are done eating the souffle. around RM38

I like all the items individually, and not together, the souffle and cream are nice on its own, mixing them together make it slightly wet and mushy. Whereas the ice cream and ginger drink are good on its own as well, mixing them both together just make it into a lukewarm gingery milky drink which is not too appetizing.

After eating my second souffle in Bistro a Table, first i had in Augustin Restaurant, Ho Chi Minh. Above my first try making it using souffle recipe for 2 pax by Eugenie Kitchen.

Some adjustment made, not having milk, i use whipped cream substituting some of it with water. It turn out quite good, rising high. Success!
