Juiceee, The Gardens, Midvalley Megamall

I used to frequent Juice Works quite a fair bit, and even got their member card, but recently i have been going to Juiceee. They only have 3 branches, ie in The Gardens Mall, Amcorp mall and Atria Shopping Gallery. My recent discovery of what could be my most favourite drink is their Avocado Dew: Full cream milk, honey dew, avocado, ice cream, sorbet and some ice. I normally opt to be without ice cream and sorbet

So yum! Try it, and use offpeak for 20% off, an XL cost only RM10.30 with discount, taking into account how expensive avocado can be, this is quite a deal. I tried Jusco’s food court Avocado milk – too lil avocado, and Isetan’s is just too expensive – about RM20. This is got to be the best Avocado milk drink, i will normally ask them to blend milk + honey dew + ice first, then adding avocado towards the end, for the creamy drink with bits of yummy avocado… They are very generous with avocado – for the Garden’s Mall branch at least, not sure about other 2 branches. So good! 🙂

Use Offpeak for 20% off Juicee anytime!

This restaurant is really hard to spot, we drove by few rounds and did not notice it. The restaurant’s signage is under a big “blook warehouse” signage.

My nasi kerabu RM8 with Gulai ikan RM6, it was okay/not bad, i kind of wish the rice or gravy is hot. All of them are in room temp.

Nasi dagang, RM7

Overall, worth a try, the food are flavorful and affordable

2OX French Bistro Afternoon Tea set

Value for money afternoon tea RM60 for 2 pax’s afternoon tea set, this is by far the tastiest afternoon tea goodies i remember having.

The pastries are realllllly tasty, probably all made from quality french butter. All the pastry and scones, and sandwiches, and creme brulee are really good. I was surprised i like their creme brulee topped with a thin layer sugar layer which you crack open to reach the luscious cream pudding. And there is salmon scramble egg! And the chicken slices in the sandwiches tasted very moist, instead of what i expect the chicken breast slice to be dry.

Go for it, all really good.

yummy chocolate cake and lemon meringue

that’s a really good creme brulee, not expect to like it, but go try… The food doesn’t look like a lot, 3 of us share this 2-person set, ordered additional bread with dips which fortunately didnt arrive, we feel just about right, quite filling actually.

Pea and Ham soup which gots lots of good review online, but i find it just so so, maybe i am just not liking the smoky ham flavour.

Swine House Salad, RM25, quite nice actually because the green are very well chilled.

Chiffon egg roast pork, around RM27, and now this is comfort food at one of its best form, though the price is definitely much expensive than outside food stall. But i could imagine myself craving for this: plenty of omelette, salty pork, salted vege soup and lots of rice underneath. The ginger condiment is kind of tasteless though, else it would been pretty perfect.

Another look of my salad, with edamame, and some bits of avocado, go for those days when you want to eat healthy 😛 i would prefer the dressing to be slightly less sweet, but that is just me. The portion for this is huge as well.

Overall, delicious food in big portion size, go try!
