One of the few arab/persian restaurants mushrooming in Cyberjaya. The shop owner, cooks, servers all look arabian to me. A lot of customers while we were there for lunch. This shop located same row as Dominoes Pizza.

My mandy chicken, RM13, should have asked for thigh, chicken breast meat is too dry. Portion is really big, a lot of rice too

Based on the 2 dishes we ordered, i still preferred Ariana Persian food.

Claypot Homemade Tofu(Small), RM12, very very nice, tofu is smooth, and filled with seafood, mushroom etc. To the right is crispy fried salted egg chicken(Small), RM13, not crispy and not nice at all, hardly taste the salted egg, they probably mixed salted egg with flour and coated the chicken pieces with it.

nice Four Season vegetables with cashewnut(Medium), RM18, very very nice, crisp vegetables topped generously with cashewnut.

Ariana Persian Food, Cyberjaya

Posted by vivien | Kuala Lumpur and Selangor | Sunday 6 September 2009 10:22 pm

Ariana Persian food located in CBD Perdana
Menu
working grilling kebab
Ghormeh Sabzi, RM12, Mixed Herb and Lamb, a mixture of imported herb sauteed with Persian seasonings and stewed with kidney beans, sundried lemon, tender lam shank meat, served with persian rice, can’t get used to the slightly bitter herb mix, taste and look similar to Indian’s Palak Paneer dish(spinach + cubed cheese mixture)
Gheimeh Bademjan, RM12, fried eggplant cooked with special tomato yellow pea, onion sauce and veal, really nice homey dish.
some minced meat rice
lamb shank dish, RM19, side dishes(refreshing salad, yoghurt cucumber tzatziki sauce, potato+pea+tuna mash, each priced at RM1.90… really nice side dishes), the lamb shank has its distintive lamb smell which i am not particularly fond of.
Koobideh Kebab, RM14, lamb kebab, really juicy and flavorful, nice!
caesar salad from their next door western attempt by Ariana’s Pizza, an Iranian twist to Carsar salad i suppose, there is no creamy salad dressing in sight, only light olive oil vinaigrate, RM12, not bad, like the salty cubed cheese and crispy chips.
love the healthy persian middle eastern food, although the price is quite steep.

Pizzeria Grazie, Street Mall, Cyberjaya

Mushroom soup, taste like campell’s soup from can, RM6.80
Insalada A.B. Italia aka Smoke Salmon Salad, RM13.80, quite a steal as it comes with slices of smoke salmon and cheese spirals

Fetuccine al Salmon, RM19.90
A resonably priced restaurant to have some western food, though the food may not taste authentically italian with al dente pasta, but it is good enough to satisfy a italian food craving.
