Went to unique seafood 23 in Petaling Jaya for bf ‘s dad birthday. Fish tanks right in the restaurant, diners can choose the seafood and have it served freshly cooked, quite an experience.

plenty of geoduck in the restaurant, RM200 over per kg

this plate of geoduck sashimi cost RM280!!! You can have it swished inside a hot herbal soup, or eat it raw with wasabi

Left: Alaskan golden crab(i think), although big, the meat is very floury, still prefer local crab.

Tiramisu, RM10.90, very nice, similar to Alexis‘ and Austin Chase’s. Their website stated there is 25% off after 6pm for April 2010, but worker there said need to print voucher, but couldn’t find any voucher to be printed online :\

thai tom yam, quite oily and sweet, prefer clear tom yam soup

Overall, i find the food just so-so, maybe they have better dishes yet to be tried.

ayam goreng kampung/fried chicken “country style” RM14

terong goreng/fried aubergine, RM3.50

gulai babat/cow’s stomach, RM6, not fond of the strong beefy smell.

gulai tunjang/cow’s tendon, RM7, quite soft and good

pepaku, a kind of vegetables, RM4.50

gulai ikan, RM4, quite cheap considering there are fish pieces inside.

sotong sambal/spicy squid, RM5

teh botol/bottled tea, RM3, quite nice actually, taste like Lipton with milk although they is no milk in this, only tea extract, sugar, water, coloring and preservatives (as shown in pic below)

a new experience, felt as though i am eating in Indonesia, not really fond of their taste, maybe cos of the bad beef smell from cow’s stomach dish, and milky pepaku dish, but the teh botol, fish etc are nice.
