Missing Hoi Kee which serves heng hwa/ hing hwa food in brickfields(have stop operating since the rows of restaurant in Jalan Tun Sambanthan was demolished for new development around end of 2010), we thought woo lan will serve the same satisfying friend mee sua but go back disappointed.

Curry seafood, RM30, expensive but delicious with lots of big fresh bouncy prawns

Heng Hwa fried mee sua which is sticky and doesn’t taste good, it is so far behind Hoi Kee’s which have since stop operating when Jalan Tun Sambanthan zinc roof restaurant were demolished end 2010.

Overall, the seafood curry is worth a try, other blogger do raves about the seaweed tofu soup which taste like shark fin soup.

    Hi Vivien,

I just been to the Hoi Kee @ Taman Desa few weeks back, nvr try the one in brickfield. However, i like WooLan’s meesua more than the Hoi Kee’s, probably i prefer softer texture type of food. But i like Hoi Kee’s fried oyster very much compare to Woolan’s!
