A restaurant in boulevard of mid valley shopping mall, quite a new establishment, open few months ago. There have dinner set for only RM16.95++(soup+main+refillable soft drinks), this restaurant is under Chilli’s
soups of the day: disappointing onion soup, and acceptable chicken mushroom soup served with jacob’s crackers, wish they were bread though
nice caesar salad with loads of parmesan shavings, and delicious pepperoni pizza(they use tortilla as pizza base, which surprisingly is quite good)
the set is value for money if you want to eat western food in mid valley mall.

closed up of mango roll, really nice with sweet ripe mangoes and shrimp, yumm
shrimp pork fried rice, nice too, RM14.50(kinda expensive though)
Xiao Long Bao, RM9.80, really nice, skin is thin enough containing yummy porky juice

peanut porridge in I Love Yoo!, ~RM2.90, don’t really like it… MSG?
Sick of all the sugar ladened doughnuts? try Big Apple’s donut. Like the above – Say Cheese, donut topped with new zealand cheese sprinkle on white chocolate, sweet and salty, nice.
or Duren duren – doughnuts filled with king of fruits, can only be kept for about 3 hours, due to the cream fillings.

 

Krispy Kreme birthday, 50% off original glazed doughnuts

After gym session, went to Krispy Kreme located on Lower Ground floor of Mid Valley Megamall, line is short and they is no noticeable signboard on this 50% off offer (July 13th is Krispy Kreme birthday)
Ah, there is the sign, however told it will only be available on 8pm, it was 7pm… told to reserve and pay first, and come back at 8pm. Paid my RM9.95 for a dozen (orignal price for a dozen original glazed is RM19.90)
sat there and wait ;p
got my original glazed pack in 2 boxes.
It is not hard to buy this doughnuts, no crazy lineup, there is just about 10 people lining up when i collect my doughnuts at 8pm.

I have already prepared my appetite for the most delicios porridge in my book – Crystal Jade’s. However once seated, the is no sight of porridge in the menu :\ Above is appetiser, RM2.
soup rice with seafood, very yummy, although the portion is not that big, RM12++, with scallop bits, prawn etc… yumm
Kou3 Shui3 chicken (literally translated from mandarin – Saliva Chicken) glistening with oil, not recommended, and the noodle stick in clumps. RM13++
