Below my favourite eatery in Kuala Lumpur/Selangor, places which i don’t mind to revisit: (this list will continually be updated…)
Dessert/Snacks:
- G2G Apom Manis: Best penang style apom in Kuala Lumpur, very nice
- Sangkaya: my favourite thai-style coconut ice cream
Shopping Malls eatery:
- Pepper Lunch(Pavillion mall): appetizing hot dishes
- Sri Melaka (Amcorp Mall): cendol with self serve gula melaka is superb
- Red Door(Kepong Jaya Jusco): yummy nyonya food
- Sukiya: Japanese Shabu Shabu steamboat at good price
- Red Beanbag: Yummy breakfast items
- Fish & Co: Love their fish and chips
- El Fresco: pick your fish and meat and have it cooked for you!
- Ying Ker Lou, Midvalley Megamall: their hakka pan mee is really good, especially with homemade chili with a punch
- Tiffins by Chef Korn, Midvalley Megamall: nice thai food
- Metal Box restaurant, Empire Damansara: spin-off from Red Beanbag, nice food here as well
- Oiso Korean, Bangsar South: for when you want an affordable korean kimchi soup and the like
Miscellaneous:
- Famous Fish Ball Noodle(Taman Muda, Cheras): cheap, satisfying, slightly pepperish delight
- Hakka Noodle(Pudu)
- Sanuki Udon: yummy udon for only RM5
- O & S: yummy curry noodle with lots of cockles
- Khong Kee Yong Tau Fu: Honest yummy yong tau fu, love their homey porridge
- Krua Thai(near Kepong Carrefour): authentic tomyam with free dessert
- Super Crab Aroma restaurant(Aman Suria, PJ): comforting fish porridge with thick fish slices
- Wong Kee Roast Pork (Pudu) (must try): melt in your mouth
- Kafe Backofen: love their smoke salmon salad, some other food looks nice as well
- Pan Heong: Craving their ho fun with their eggy gravy, very satisfying and yummy
- Lan Je: 1 fish per person
- Bumbu Bali
- Porto Romano
- Nong & Jimmy: Yummy seafood fest (BBQ Crab, squid etc)
- Yat Yeh Hing: go there mainly for their unlimited chicken feet soup
- Ho Ho Steamboat: my go to for steamboat
- Tao Xiang Fish Head Noodle: prepare for a sweaty affair in this restaurant with bad ventilation, their claypot fish head noodle is not bad though
- Hoi Kee, Taman Desa: Heng Hwa food, their mee sua with seaweed etc is yummy
- Kien Kee Spicy Kampung Chicken Soup: very satisfying pork + chicken spicy food [white pepper + ginger kind of spicy)
- Kong Sai: superb peppery pork stomach soup
- Basil Pasta: Very affordable and many choices of pasta
- Big Tree Lin Kee: Very satisfyingly delicious ginger steamed fish, yum!
- Ratha Raub: Go there if you are craving a good curry chicken
- Breadfruits: in Sri Hartamas, awesome pasta topped with soft boiled egg, but food is served till 5pm only though
- Choong Kee Kampar Claypot Chicken Rice, Damansara Jaya: awesome claypot chicken rice with chicken thigh meat!
- Sae Ma Eul Korean BBQ, Mont Kiara Solaris: very affordable and delicious
- Little Yum Yum, Kota Damansara: very delicious nyonya food
- Antipodean, Midvalley Megamall: for when you craving for a hearty big breakfast
- Las Vacas, Kelana Jaya: reasonably priced meat
- Lao Jiu Lou, Taman Desa: cheap noodle dish with porky broth which sure to satisfy
- Tommy Le Baker: Try their yummy camembert baguette sandwich, so gooood
- Frisky Goat, TTDI: try their savoury waffle dishes, the waffle has a buttery aroma to it
- D’Italiane Kitchen, Paradigm mall: similar to The Italianies, but nicer and probably cheaper as well.

- Uncle Cheng Beef Tendon balls
- Bakeri Joy, SS24/13 Taman Megah
- Stall 41, SS2 food court: the ABC looks nice
