Doubletree KL is the hotel i like the most right now. With enough advanced booking, you can get club room RM450-RM500(all tax inclusive, for a public holiday! and so far allow us option to dine in breakfast buffet instead of only club lounge though we didnt buy breakfast) for a staycation where you dont need to worry about breakfast lunch dinner. Last minute booking can get very expensive till i think RM800. Their free choc chip cookie during check-in, and sometimes during checkout(if you ask nicely) is a very nice touch.

Club lounge closes at 8pm which is very early, but i can live with that

Their afternoon fare on club lounge are very nice and around 3 visits we had so far. Real dairy cream (yum) with scone, i can eat just the cream by itself

the kuih and cakes are nice as well on all ~3 visits we had

I find their dinner fare average. And they always run of of table/space, so if you go just a bit late, they will tell you to go back to your room, and will call you once they have tables. So just go to dinner early!

their breakfast buffet is FABULOUS. On some visit, even a chinese section that has soy bean drink/longan drink, tea egg/braised spicy chicken feet(so yum)

The club lounge breakfast is very limited, and the on-order waffle is terrible, so great that they allow us to dine in downstair buffet

Overall, this is my top favourite hotel, have visited i think ~ 3/4 times this year. Great buffet when booked in advance. Go go go

I dont have much recollection of my stay of grand millenium, which probably means it is not that great stay and i wont be returning.

The location is great, basically just walk out and few steps away is Pavillion shopping mall

Club lounge

The club lounge is quite big, ample of tables, and even have upstair small tables, and a quiet meeting room downstair.

We went to Lot 10 to dine in a restaurant with high google review, but the food is just normal, nothing great, i think there is like some discount or something for leaving google review, no wonder so much good reviews.

one of the down side is the pool is oddly shape, quite deep for children beyond the horizontal divider, very sunny, dont open late enough… 😀 I just dont really like the pool

Food are quite nice, above average for lounge. I just it is just the pool, but dont know why, i am just not very fond/drawn to revisit this…. oh ya, i think partly cos club room dont have option to dine in the hotel breakfast buffet unless paying extra
