the froyo (aka Frozen Yogurt) craze finally caught on to a more commonly found establishment-Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf. Yogurberry probably serve the most refreshing yogurt ice cream among all which i have tried: Yogurberry, Tutti Fruitti, Ebis Cafe etc. Love the tartness and refreshing frozen yogurt taste. Above is small for RM6.90++, they also have regular size which is of larger serving. Currently they selling 2 flavours, namely original tart and vanilla. However, they have  much more flavours available for yogurt drinks.

froyo machine to the left (pictured above).

Currently, only selected few Coffee Bean outlet serve frozen yogurt: Mid Valley, Sunway Pyramid etc

three cheese sandwich

3 cheese sandwich, with thick baguette like bread, very nice, RM19.90 if not mistaken

strawberry pavlova

my favourite dessert, Strawberry pavlova, baked whipped meringue topped with whipped double cream, fresh strawberry and chocolate shavings, around RM12.90… so good

menu

Ninja Jones is in Northpoint of Midvalley City, there is a overpass link on Midvalley Level 1 North Court to Northpoint.

Above is their menu, we ordered a ninja course set: with soft shell crab salad, shuriken No 1, salmon carpaccio(marinated raw salmon), california roll, stone grill chicken, teapot soup and tiramisu at RM68

soft shell crab salad

soft shell crab salad, the crab is oily and soggy.

tofu

tofu with minced ginger and chives/spring onion

stone grilled chicken

stone grilled chicken, sizzling warm and nice

tempura

tempura, oily, batter is slightly too thick and heavy.

salmon carpacio

salmon carpaccio, with crispy ginger shred, i would prefer salmon sashimi.

takoyaki

takoyaki like ball, with mayo, crab meat etc inside, quite good

california temaki

california maki, standard

teapot soup

teapot soup, really nice and flavorful

grilled king mushroom

Eringi Ninniku Shoyu Grill/Grilled King Mushroom, nice snack, RM18

snapper carpacio

the have special of the day/not on menu: RM60 for half a fish, i think it is a deep sea snapper from Japan. You can cook it 2 style, chose carpaccio and soup. If you order whole fish, you can have it 4 styles: sashimi, carpaccio, soup, grill etc…

snapper soup

soup, i find it soup just ok, prefer the teapot soup.

caterpillar roll

caterpillar roll, RM19, really nice, with unagi inside.

tiramisu

tiramisu which comes with the set, so-so

egg custard

complimentary egg custard from chef, not fond of the egg smell.

Overall, a really nice place for japanese food, all their items taste pretty good although i will probably steer clear of their tempura and other deep fried stuff, they are not light and crispy, but soaked with much oil.
