Another middle eastern food restaurant in Cyberjaya

Hummos and bread, RM5, mashed chickpea blended with tahini served with bread

My set menu1 with beef curry, dhal and vege. The beef tasted very hard and frozen like, i could not finish as the beef curry just didn’t taste fresh.

Polao rice, RM4; Chicken Jhalfrezi, RM6, the chicken taste odd and not tasty

Beverage menu (mango lassi RM4 etc)

Bangladeshi/North Indian, too many choices, and the waiter didn’t gave us any suggestion, end up both of us ordered food which doesn’t taste good.

Supernice, the green shaved ice is not too sweet, and the red bean is delighfully soft and yummy, RM5.90, they are very generous with the topping

They have basic flavor(milk, yoghurt, coconut, chocolate, coffee, yam and lavender) and premium flavour(mango, strawberry and greentea), Extra topping(basic and premium topping are available)

My Favourite Taste

It is mango season now, which type of mango do you like? Tesco have offer on mangoes whereby all the above mangoes are priced the same only RM2.50 per kg.

From left: Elephant tusk(long-ish), Waterlily(with a sharper “bottom”), chokonan(look almost the same as waterlily, with a rounder “bottom”), and thai black gold(ripe but skin will still look greenish)

Elephant Tusk without a doubt is the clear winner here, the flesh is soft without mushy and has a nice aroma/taste.

Waterlily rank second, as it is slightly sour although fully ripe, a bit mushy.

Chokonan and thai black gold share the last place as both have virtually no aroma/taste although the texture are good- ripe without mushy.

Went for Brussels Beer Cafe RM15 lunch deal in Mont Kiara Solaris, everyday 12pm-3pm.

Lunch set choices for Mont Kiara Solaris branch, they also have branches in JayaOne, Menara Hap Seng and Ampang(beside Ampang Grocers). You can find out more about their set lunch in each branches from their website. Each lunch set comes with a soft drink and free flow of their salad buffet bar

the salad ingredients are fresh: coleslaw, romain lettuce leave, chickpea, pineapple, corn, red kidney bean, tomatoes, onion, crouton, parmesan shavings and 2 kinds of dressing(olive oil pesto vinaigrette, and thousand island dressing)

My salad, love the garlicky bread croutons and chickpeas. Canned pineapple taste pretty good too

Bf’s way of eating salad, looks nice though

My saute frankfurter sausage with squid and onion, served with bell pepper pilaf rice, looks like some chinese stir fry fare, taste is alright, i just felt like having rice.

Roast Pork spaghetti aglio olio, pasta is al dente, not bad

They have moules et frites, mussels served with belgian fries, gotta have it one day 😛

some other menu items: belgium frites etc

Very good lunch deal, especially like the free flow refillable salad.
