Missing Hoi Kee which serves heng hwa/ hing hwa food in brickfields(have stop operating since the rows of restaurant in Jalan Tun Sambanthan was demolished for new development around end of 2010), we thought woo lan will serve the same satisfying friend mee sua but go back disappointed.

Business hour: 12pm-3pm(lunch); 6pm-10pm(dinner) closed on every monday except public holidays

Brickfields_Woo_Lan3

Curry seafood, RM30, expensive but delicious with lots of big fresh bouncy prawns

Brickfields_Woo_Lan4

Heng Hwa fried mee sua which is sticky and doesn’t taste good, it is so far behind Hoi Kee’s which have since stop operating when Jalan Tun Sambanthan zinc roof restaurant were demolished end 2010.

Overall, the seafood curry is worth a try, other blogger do raves about the seaweed tofu soup which taste like shark fin soup.

Moghul Mahal

Moghul mahal restaurant Sdn Bhd menu

interior

clean interior.

mango lassi and teh tarik

Mango lassi, RM4 and teh tarik(milk tea), RM2. The mango lassi tasted a bit of artificial mango concentrate.

pani poori

paani poori, RM5, filled with mashed potato, to be eaten by pouring a lil of the greenish condiments into the opening on top, quite an experience eating this, deep fried crispy puff filled with cold minty condiments

complementary papadam

complimentary fried pakoras with minty yoghurt sauce as we wait quite long for the naan, not used to them serving food on towel, FYI, the towel looks quite dirty, dusted with flour etc, probably due to them reusing the towels.

egg naan

Egg naan, RM4, quite nice, both the bread and the dipping sauce are piping hot.

egg naan again

inside egg naan, with mashed egg, some herb, wish it was filled with more egg though, not just speckles of egg
