Mid-Valley-Gardens-FoodCourt1-Salmon

Salmon Bento from Japanese stall, below three items(mackarel bento, chicken ramen and salmon rice set) also from the same stall. Their food are mediocre and okay. Above set cost around RM13

There is 10% discount for those working in Gardens North Tower or South Tower, just flash your Garden entrance swipe card to get this discount.

Mid-Valley-Gardens-FoodCourt3-Saba

Mackarel set for around RM13 as well

Mid-Valley-Gardens-FoodCourt2-Korean

One of the cheaper option in this food court/stall in third floor of the gardens mall. They have few ramen options, price below RM10 inclusive tax. Above is some chicken ramen, taste ok, won’t order it again, the ramen has wantan mee texture.

Mid-Valley-Gardens-FoodCourt9

This taste nice, around RM11, i thought the salmon is grilled but saw them deep frying it -_-”

Mid-Valley-Gardens-FoodCourt4

Pineapple Rice from Lanna Thai, RM7.50, seems like a popular dish as shown in above pic

Mid-Valley-Gardens-FoodCourt5

I ordered a pineapple rice set, should have gotten it ala carte instead, the tomyam soup is terrible, the mango salad and watermelon are forgettable. The rice on the other hand is quite nice with hints of turmeric.

Mid-Valley-Gardens-FoodCourt6

Two of my colleagues who tasted the above said the above braised yee mee has a really weird taste, terrible, salty and sweet at the same time.

Mid-Valley-Gardens-FoodCourt7

Rice Cake soup from Sam Sam Korean, my favourite stall in this entire food court, they will tend to sprinkle ground peanut on top which i opt out, around RM11

Mid-Valley-Gardens-FoodCourt8

Chicken bibimbap, around RM12, one of my favourite dish in this food court, plenty of vegetable and a very filling dish

Mid-Valley-Gardens-FoodCourt10Sad looking spagetti and pathetic looking mushroom soup

GelatoFruity1

Went to eat Gelato Fruity all you can eat buffet for RM15 per pax today in Mid Valley Megamall East Atrium, today is the last day, a limited time promotional gelato buffet for this newly opened gelato fruity booth

GelatoFruity2

6 big display fridge filled with milk-based and water based gelato

GelatoFruity3

GelatoFruity4

one of my favourite:  soupsop, with lots of real soursop fibres

GelatoFruity5

Coffee lovers should definitely try Kafe Magnum, made of coffee and hazelnut

GelatoFruity6

Banana oat is quite nice as well, taste homey with real ingredients

GelatoFruity7

Durian is not bad

GelatoFruity8

Paradise Cake looks plain with jam swirl, but it taste creamy without overly sweet

GelatoFruity9

My 2 favourite chocolate flavors of all the chocolate flavors offered: Rocher-Rocher and Ciocolato(made with 90% cocoa double chocolate)

GelatoFruity10

GelatoFruity11Not in picture is also their peach yogurt which taste of subtle peach.

Overall, I find their fruit-based flavors tasted artifically(imagine bubble gum/sugus flavors) with only few exceptions stated above.

Their gelato is being sold reasonably at RM6.90 for a cup of 100g

Mid-Valley-North-Tower-World-Cafe3

My assam fish, taste ok, sourish from assam pieces, i think it is made with dory fish.

Mid-Valley-North-Tower-World-Cafe4

Canton BBQ chicken which looks artificially red

Overall, the price is considered reasonably cheap for food in Mid Valley City. The taste is nothing special though.

For breakfast, they do serve a very yummylicious sandwich, i think it is called World Sandwich, only RM4, two sandwich bread slices containing piping hot omelette and melted cheese, yum~

This is my collegue and my favourite haunt in Mid valley. I always order their fresh fish head mee hoon which is non-fried fish with mee hoon. If you don’t fancy mee hoon, you can opt for fish paste with vegetable soup which comes with a lot of vegetables and no noodle.

Mid-Valley-HomeMade-Fish-Head-Noodle2

They also have fish paste noodle(mee hoon or yee mee)

Mid-Valley-HomeMade-Fish-Head-Noodle5

They have 3 branches (Kota Damansara, Mid Valley and Subang Jaya SS15)

Mid-Valley-HomeMade-Fish-Head-Noodle6

Fried Rice with shrimp and preserved vegetables, RM8.90, portion could be bigger, not bad

Mid-Valley-HomeMade-Fish-Head-Noodle7

Fried Rice with chicken ham and salted fish, RM8.90

Mid-Valley-HomeMade-Fish-Head-Noodle8

My favourite fresh fish(non-fried) fish head noodle, RM9.80. Their sour-spicy chilli condiment is very good as well. The soup is sourish and very appetising. You can opt for with evaporated milk or without.

Mid-Valley-HomeMade-Fish-Head-Noodle9

Deep fried fish head noodle, RM9.80, lots of small bones in the fish. Surprisingly their fried fish have more bones than the non-fried ones.

Mid-Valley-HomeMade-Fish-Head-Noodle10-FishPaste

Fish paste meehoon, RM9.80

Mid-Valley-HomeMade-Fish-Head-Noodle11

Tofu rice, a square eggy tofu underneath the rice with sweet sour fish, topped with asparagus tempura.

Mid-Valley-HomeMade-Fish-Head-Noodle12

Dried tossed udon(with a poached egg underneath) with a bowl of fish paste vege soup, ~RM14, a filling and healthy set as there are lots of vege in the soup

Mid-Valley-HomeMade-Fish-Head-Noodle13

Lychee lemon plum drink, RM5.90, colleague mentioned it is a confused drink as it is sweet, sour and salty at the same time, don’t like it

Mid-Valley-HomeMade-Fish-Head-Noodle14

Stir fried ramen with fish, RM10.80, quite like it as there are lots of fish in it, bamboo shoots in it as well.

Mid-Valley-HomeMade-Fish-Head-Noodle15

Fresh fish with yee mee(fried egg noodle), RM9.80

One of the best fish head noodle which i have ever eaten.
