Been wanting to try this restaurant since reading bout it in
Icecube’s and
*::||Life of the Food Lovers||::*. Since The Curve is a shopping mall situated further from my house which i seldom go to, today finally went there to have lunch. And that also un-intended, because wanted to eat the banana leaves in
Colonial Times which is so delicious, and also free flow rice, *heart* rice with dhal… and the price is reasonably cheap(for lunch time banana leaves only, ala carte can be quite expensive), but it was on renovation, so settle for backup plan – Bubba shrimps, which coincidently few doors away.
Bubba Gump Shrimps opened its first restaurant in 1996 on Monterey, California. Decorations in this restaurant is inspired by the movie Forest Gump, staring Tom Hanks.
Complimentary crackers while waiting for your orders. Sauces in the bucket: Lingham chili sauce, Heinz tomato sauce and gourmet vinegar.
Blueberry smoothie, RM10.90
blueberries, strawberry, and non-fat vanilla frozen yoghurt.
thick and yummy
Lotsa Lava, RM10.90
creamy coconut and sweet pineapple erupt with a strawberry flow.
Looks sweet but it is actually refreshing sourish
Cajun Shrimp, RM20.90
Sauteed in hot and spicy Cajun butter sauce. Served with garlic bread. Find the bread a bit stale and dry.
Bourbon Street Baramundi, RM29.90
Charbroiled cajun spiced baramundi with bourbon street sauce and shrimp, served over mashed potatoes.
Although i do find this dish slightly too salty, it is quite delicious, the fish is moist and easily flaked. Red potatoes are mashed skin on. Shrimps are fresh.
