Went to Spasso Milano in Pavillion shopping center Level 6, there have antipasti buffet available daily from noon till 3pm for RM28++

fresh salad

grilled peppers, …, baked pumpkin which is really yummy, and grilled potato&grilled zuchini which is really good as well

Asparagus soup and savoury red bean soup which is surprisingly not bad

baked mussels

roast chicken with rosemary which is quite good

garlic  bread, fritatta etc

left is salty red bean soup and asparagus soup to the right

ham spaghetti, roast chicken etc

there is no complimentary drinks or water :S

clams etc

love the baked pumpkins, clams, chicken, and dipping garlic bread into soup

cakes are alright, mostly soft mousse type

Overall, i don’t think it is such a good deal as there is no drinks available. We have to pay for bottled water :S I wonder whether antipasto buffet in Senja Italian restaurant (RM35++) in Saujana Hotel, Shah Alam will have drinks included, but then it is too far out of the city.

Another treat from bf’s sis.

Other than Super Sushi Group(consisting of Sushi Zanmai, Sushi Zen etc), Senjyu is one of my favourite sushi chain. I have fond memories of their sweet tasting oyster 🙂

Their oyster are shucked from live ones and not slimy but fresh and sweet tasting. I wonder whether they still have the RM50++ for 6 oyster deal. I really like their live oyster although i am not really a raw oyster fan.

first time tasting the salty sea urchin, the yellowish glob in the bowl to the right, not bad

The unagi maki is really good as well

A porky treat by bf sister. The restaurant is just opposite Bangsar Village.

Complimentary bread

Spanish peppers stuffed with minced pork, RM18, just okay

Roast pork belly, RM22

Roast suckling pick with fried potato and salad, very soft, i find it doesn’t have much taste though in comparison to chinese type of suckling pig

Platter of cold cuts for 2(RM54) – Iberico, Serano, Parma Ham, Speck, Chorizo with melon and olive. All taste salty and melt in the mouth. An experience to eat some of the most expensive ham.

I think the above is Paella mixta with chicken, fish, squid, prawn etc, RM68, very nice!

Chorizos – spicy spanish sausage with confit potato, love the potato cooked in pork fat probably, RM16

Overall, i really like their paella, yummy!

Set for 2 pax RM128 which includes one 550g lobster which is really small, we top up RM20 to get the 700g one.

Steamed chinese style with spring onion, which look the biggest among the 3 lobsters although they are supposedly all 700g

yucky cream sauce again on seafood rice, should have asked for the tomato based one

simple fruit with whipped cream, nice

Consider this an economical way of having a lobster meal, less than RM200 for a lobster meal for 2 pax, inclusive of one 700g lobster.

We took MEX highway passing through Putrajaya, Dengkil, Banting to reach Tanjong Sepat, just like previous visit to tanjung sepat on May 2011.

Above is BMX bike field in Putrajaya Extreme Park

Breakfast in YiKee restaurant, above is fish paste in salted vege soup.

Mixed meat and seafood(prawn + fish slices) in bak kut teh soup. A satisfying breakfast. yummy!

Visited Joo Fa Trading which produce coffee  from locally grown coffee bean.

As informed by the boss of Joo Fa, we went to a coffee shop nearby which uses their coffee beans, tasted smooth and very nice.

Next stop is famous lover’s bridge, next to it is a small passionfruit plantation, we bought ice blended passion fruit drink.
