Malaysia is almost too saturated with sweet doughnuts and sugary cupcakes, time for some dessert which is not too sweet nor oily. Above is Chewy Junior pastry stall in Pavillion shopping mall.

Papa John’s, Berjaya Time Square

After dining in Papa John’s in Berjaya Time Square, i still not understand what the hype about Krispy Kreme and Papa John’s is all about, as i find their fare to be mediocre, probably american food doesn’t really suit my tastebuds 😛
We had the set for 2 person, above thi bread stick served with pizza sauce
Texas heat, pizza with sliced jalapeno pepper, not a hint of spiciness, just sourish taste 😛
I find their pizza to be mediocre, although it is healthier than the oiler Pizza Hut, their specialty of serving you whole jalapeno pepper, pizza sauce and garlic sauce. I find their garlic sauce to be more of melted butter with garlic, not very pleasing to my palate… This whole meal + tax add up just short of RM30.

The famous Wong Ah Wah(WAW) chicken wings, RM2.20 each, marinated well and warm when served.
Boiled cockles from another stall, RM5 (one person’s portion)
Kung Po frog with white porridge, RM9.50 (one person’s portion) yummy and the sauce is potently spicy.

Teng2 Zai2 Porridge(Cantonese) with fish, cuttlefish, chicken, peanuts, spring onion, ginger, really really good, this portion is big enough for big eater like me, RM8.80
Mango Cream with Sago and Pomelo, really good too,  RM8, lots of pomelo and the mango cream has nice mango aroma, good stuff, cheaper and much better than the dissapointing one in HK Dessert House, Kepong.
Braised peanuts served here is not complementary, but charged at RM3, suspects it is canned peanuts… hehe…
