Fried selections, this restaurant is a hard-to-miss cornershop in Yong Peng.
Yong Tau Fu
My bowl of goodness, though it is not spectacular, i consider it to be comfort food, as the soup is sorta tasteless(which prob means there is no MSG), and the fishballs are not artificially springy. Not bad on a hot day.
They are in Popular book store’s food guide.
Do you feel angry looking at this receipt? because i sorta do, it is so complicated, anyway i think each piece of yong tau fu is RM0.70. and tax are probably calculated in which explains the RM19.05.

Tangkak is a small town you have to pass thru if you are going Gunung Ledang. Remember how i rant here, that i have lost the photos, today i plug the SD memory card to my own notebook, there appear a folder called “photos” beside the usual “DCIM”-> “Pentax” folder, i don’t know how it got there, but i am happy 😛
We had Kon Lor Mee in Tangkak, it is at Lok Pin Hotel, not sure whether it serves as a hotel, but it is pretty run down, there is a RHB bank just few doors away.
Stall
Small RM3
Medium RM5
Big RM6
This is the noodle, look like Pan mee, but it is very springy, nice~! RM4 (neither small, medium or big, see the price list above -_-“)

Choose the ingredients you want and bring it to your own table. Each table has a insert of hotpot in the middle.
vege selection

RM84 for 6 person. 5 types of sauces + 5-in-1 sauce. Not exactly quality food, but it is the atmosphere and piping hot food which make it taste not half-bad. This stall is at Wai Sik Kai of Chai Leng park, it is at the furthest end of the road if you are coming from Pearl View hotel.

Had another impromptu trip to Penang, it is a 1-night-stay, work till the wee hours of the morning, fly back to KL the next day. While waiting for my flight, pondering what to eat. McD? Coffee Bean? Kenny Rogers? Craving for some chicken, some rice, comfort food to be exact. so Kenny it is.
Had the quarter chicken with 3 side dishes RM16.90
Choice of side dishes: i chose mash potato, rice and crisp garden salad.
my choice of banana muffin, complimentary ice water.
The mash potato taste funny, mainly cos of the gravy, it is not the usual dark gravy, instead taste cornish with traces of corn… Yuck… nonetheless i down it all as i love potatoes any style.
