Crusty bread served with Sundried Tomato dippings (complimentary)
Parma harm with melon, first time having parma ham, it taste almost cottony and slight salty, nice, RM34
Penne with prawns tails and spicy sausage in fresh tomato sauce, RM32, very nice, the pasta is al dente
Linguine “cozze e polipetti” with baby octopus and imported mussels in spicy tomato sauce, good too although i am not very fond of the baby octopus fishy smell. RM32
panacotta in berry coulis, RM16, nice panacotta with speckles of real vanilla bean.
They also served wood-fire pizza, but only for dinners. This is a quaint little up-market restaurant serving tasty food.

Went to the MIFB today, which is the 10th Malaysia International Food & Beverage Trade Fair in Putra World Trade Center(PWTC), today is the last day which is the only day it is open to public, it was opened only to trade visitors on Thursday & Friday, but little did i know trade visitor meaning people with business cards, your field of work is irrelevant. The advantage of entering such fair as a trade visitors is you can go in for free, public visitors have to pay RM10 entrance fee. Above is a cake decoration session held in AB Mauri booth. AB Mauri has a factory in Balakong producing yeast and baking ingredients.
Spraying yellow paint onto the chicken.
More powder colors onto the cake
More coloring
Drawing the eyes
Finished product
Top right is Ruffles i got from Carrefour, the others are from Thailand, tried the Lay’s onion and cheese, not bad, although quite oily. I really want to rant about getting fat now, have been feeling tired, not enough rest, and eating quite a bit more, and exercising only once a week although like to do it twice… grrr… fat away from me… -_-“
and not forgetting the porky meal i just had in South Jinjang-Restaurant Soon Heong, pork ribs bak kut teh, fatty pork stew, pork liver/kidney, stew chicken wings etc… and i had dried style noodle with pork this morning, and tried all the random food stuff in MFIB, then a McDonald’s Fillet ‘O Fish lunch value meal(RM5.95++) for lunch, FATS, don’t you find it kinda annoying when girls complains that they are fat when they aren’t? but i think i am fat ass…
* all today’s food photos are taken with Olympus Fe-20, nope i didn’t buy a new camera, just using my mum’s camera, a 8MP instead of my regular 4MP Pentax Option S4*

What am i doing in office on a saturday morning, and what more blogging away, simply to do customer support. It is basically their reports not tally, can’t do month-end closing, and my boss calling me after work yesterday asking me to come office to support them on Saturday morning… just want to solve this quick now. What’s troublesome is that after i updated the Oracle files, they need to do a “Generation” step which will take approx 2 hours, and now i have to wait… :\  A programer’s life.
Above is OldTown White Coffee breakfast set, RM3.90 set, upgrade the coffee/black tea option to milk tea for additional RM1, taste good.

Citrus Yoghurt Muffin

Another lazy day at home, tried this citrusy muffin recipe from Babe in the City – KL. I don’t have much affinity to muffin, same as bread, those i made usually turn out half good and it is no wonder that muffin is also called quick bread. Didn’t really like this, nonetheless can’t really blame the recipe, as i didn’t zest the orange rind, but instead cut it off with bare knife, thus there is traces of whitish orange skin which can taste bitter, and i “diced” the orange rind, it is not a very fine rind, too rough i guess. Also, i used only orange rind, instead of orange + lime + lemon.
Finished product, still in the fridge…
baked one swiss roll, sold it to colleague for RM8, don’t like selling as can’t earn much baking 1 swiss roll eh. 😛
Krispy Kreme second outlet in Malaysia – Mid Valley Megamall, Malaysia is too saturated with sweet doughnuts, heard Krispy’s is sickening sweet but good texture… gotta try one someday.

Mushroom soup + refillable ice lemon tea for RM9.90 (Add on to a main dish) Mushroom soup is a refreshing change from usual whitish mushroom soup although taste is just ok.
Garlic Mussel, love dipping the bread into the garlicky sauce. yum yum, RM16.90
Bake Dory Fish in Herbs, taste a bit odd, and the herb made the fish look a bit unappetisingly greenish, RM21.90
I still prefer Fish & Co over Manhattan Fish Market
