D’lish is situated on ground floor of Mid Valley, across from Starbucks, it is a cafe version of Delicious restaurant.
30% discount(8pm-10pm) for food displayed on counter. 10% discount for Ms Read member.
Mini cupcake (3pcs for about RM6)
From left: peanut butter(yummy), chocolate(too dense and sugary), coconut(dry)
Raspberry chocolate brownie with vanilla ice-cream (RM8.80)(couldn’t taste any raspberry) Not bad but could be better, portion is kinda small.
Price: 5% government tax

After a morning Skytrex-ing, it is time for lunch.
drinks selection:
RM2 for soft drinks etc
chicken rice, doesn’t look too pretty, don’t know about the taste

Like this har mee, the soup is tasty and definitely one of the better ones out there.
Smooth Tou Fu, Yong Tau Fu RM0.80 each
Popiah, RM1.50 each, consummable, nothing spectacular.

Burger King serves one of the better beef burger out there, it is juicy and delicious.
Promotion, you get free sundae of flavor chocolate, caramel or strawberry. Took the caramel ones, taste pretty good, not too sweet. 🙂
My mushroom swiss singles, yumm (RM9.95 per set, with fries and refillable soft drink + free sundae)
Looks quite small, but it is adequate.
Mushroom swiss double, namely 2 patties in a single burger bun. (RM13.95 with fries and refillable soft drinks)
Nice burger wrapper, “singles” on the left and “doubles” on the right, “have it your way” 😉

Pearl View Hotel, Prai, Penang

This small room is located at new wing of Pearl View hotel where rates is cheaper, RM125 nett per night for corporate, else RM130 nett.
There are only 2 hotels in Prai(not counting small hotel without “stars”), one is Sunway(which is expensive) and another one is Pearl View(where occupancy rate is at a profiting level, according to the hotel’s taxi driver, and owner of this hotel have been living the good life in Australia now.)

Trans Fat free peach cake, i like the marsmallowy cream and the peach, same can’t be say for the sponge base, it is a bit on the dry side.
Nonetheless, a sweet treat indeed. 😀
Secret Recipe’s is a chain cafe with branches all over malaysia, ex: Mid Valley Megamall etc.
