Traditional English Afternoon Tea for Two, daily from 3pm-6pm
Served in Triple Tier:
Warm Scone with preserves jam & pure cream
Assortment of Finger Sandwich and Duck Confit in Filo Pastry
Strawberry Chocolate Dip & Handroll Chocolate Truffle
Rosemary and Cheese Cookies
Choice of any cake on display
Choice of any 2 cup of tea
for RM59.90
Tea available: all hot tea selection – Earl Grey, English Breakfast, Peppermint etc
The Earl Grey’s from TWG Tea taste awesome, whereas the peppermint tea taste odd, and not warm enough.
triple tier, it is a bit too much for 2 person, we had some sandwich, scone, cookie and chocolate truffle doggie bagged. We chose Bread Pudding made with croissant, they are 4 strawberries on the top tier too.
4 scones! 4 cookies!(buttery, salty and nice) the chocolate sauce in the middle are meant for the strawberries, too bad we realise what the chocolate sauce is for after seeing the other table’s dipping their strawberries into it, no wonder the berry taste sour 😛
A nice tea set, although it is too filling for 2 person, would prefer if the scones, cookies etc be miniaturised and the price lowered 😛

Kiehl’s is an American brand that made landing in Malaysia just this past year (i think), first flagship store in Pavillion and currently they have a store in MidValley Shopping Center, ground floor (near Vincci shoe store). I was looking for moisturiser for the face, and they recommended me 4 choices, and gave me 4 samples(2 are made from Yerba Mate(green colored packets) and 2 others).
The ones they recommended are:
1. Yerba Mate Tea Lotion, alright (cost RM150 i think)
2. Yerba Mate Gel Cream, a bit too rich for me
3. Sodium PCA Oil Free Moisturizer, the name of this product enough to freak some ppl out i guess, i mean it is like what kind of chemical am i putting onto my face?! but it really feel “humectant” just as it claim, it forms a film over your skin, and probably a good barrier between skin and make up
4. Ultra Facial Moisturizer, feel like a good normal moisturiser, also because i think it is expensive too
Skincare, healthcare, health supplements are probably the most profitable business of all, i mean how do i ever knows it works, and even that i have to spend so much to find out… especially skincare, with all the claims of certain products, and promises to reduce dark circles, fine lines, it is like does it really work… who knows it is just some beautiful words to pander to every girls dream to be young and beautiful.
Also, currently Vichy is on promotion till 14 June 2009, in Watson, 20-30% off, this is a brand which i tried before, not mistaken it is a Montreal-Canadian/French brand… ah i am so unwilling to part with $$ for… :S hahaha
Anyway, just in case you want to try Kiehl’s products, they are now giving out samples, go get some ;P

Went to Kepong Brem Mall’s Giant supermarket. After that, had a drink in a kopitiam-Kepong Kopitiam, consider this a Old Town wannabe, the lemon drink which i ordered is so damn fake and cost RM3.50! basically it is lemon extract/cordial mix with 1 slice of lemon, couldn’t finished it, and the above is where i left it at. This makes me appreciate Old Town White Coffee more, cause they maintain certain standard in their food, and they taste pretty good.
breakfast set from OldTown White Coffee, nasi lemak + ice lemon tea = RM5.90. If you take black coffee/tea with the nasi lemak, it will be RM4.90. You can add fried chicken to the rice for RM1.50, yummy.
Made a Cheese slice cake, ingredients: 3 slices of cheese, milk, butter, flour, 3 eggs etc, the batter is little, so the cake is thin and flat :\
Recipe for Cheese Slice cake is from hslingkitchen. Flat cake, it taste just alright, recipe by ivyaiwei is still da best.
