Fish head noodle, good for 3 person, RM38, very expensive and not nice, the soup is not nice and don’t like the fish with too much small bones in it, no fish meat only option as it is mandatory 1 fish head in one fish head noodle dish ordered. The only thing i like is they are using the thick meehoon in it

Vegetable, RM8 drinks are also quite expensive, the house boiled water chestnut herbal tea is RM3.50, don’t know whether it is the normal price nowadays. Address: Ong Lai No 60A Jalan Raja Laut, Kuala Lumpur

Restoran Lan Je Puchong

Kedai Makanan Lan Je is famous for their steamed talapia fish, they have branches all over Klang valley, like Balakong, Bandar Puteri Puchong, Shah Alam’s Kota Kemuning, Kota Damansara, Desa Aman Puri, Subang USJ 1 and even one stall in Sungei Wang’s Level 3 “Big Food Street” food court, their head quarter restaurant is in Rawang, and to date the latest branch is in Kepong, somewhere behind Kepong Carrefour.

obligatory vegetable

steamed fish, RM17.50

Their fish comes in only one cooking style, that is steamed with fermented bean paste, garlic and ginger tinged soy sauce topped with some coriander, but customers can opt to have it mild, spicy or extra spicy. The level of spiciness determine the amount of cili padi which will mount on top of the fish. I like the extra spicy steamed fish which is topped with lots of minced cili padi.

Overall, i really like food here, satisfying meal for 2 under RM50

My favourite bread is from here! I love their toasted baguette with camembert, made to order, will come here takeaway around once every 2 weeks or so

their display fridge filled with all the goodies, the lemon tart looks so nice although i have not tried it

bread counter filled with so many bread which looks really nice

cheese and drinks for sale, also available are F&N ginger ale, 100 plus, ice lemon tea etc

they have just moved to a bigger shot lot in Viva Residency last month

bigger areas

same bread display counter

our sandwich, egg sandwich and my cheese in bran bread, cos they ran out of baguette ):

2 sandwiches

yum, after trying their Camembert, brie and Pont l’eveque soft cheese, i prefer Camembert which is slightly more solid than brie.

my default takeaway order, yummy Camembert cheese baguette, RM10.60 with smears of butter and lots of tomato and some sauce which i don’t really know made of what, but yum. Freshly made and toasted, looks burnt, but can’t taste anything wrong with it, still as delicious

another takeway of cheese baguette. I did bought one plain baguette back, find it very extremely chewy to eat as it, i guess really have to toast it to turn chewy-teeth-pain texture to nice crispy exterior just like those toasted in their shop

Only RM59.90++ for ala carte japanese buffet; Senior Kitchen: RM44++

For japanese buffet, i like coming here as the price is considered cheap and it is ala-carte! unlimited ala-carte order

Monday – Friday 6pm – 10pm

Public holiday & weekends: Noon – 3pm; 6pm – 10pm

Smoked duck salad, surprisingly quite nice

chilled prawn, okay

this looks very creamy, mayo-ey, not something i normally like, basically too rich looking kinda food. But this is really good, the mayo creamy topping made the mussel so so so nice.

sashimi salad, nice

tuna tataki

like to munch those edamame

sashimi, the salmon is nice, butter fish is not bad, don’t like the tuna, still missing the otoro tuna that i had Osaka’s Kuromon market, that was so nice

fresh salmon sashimi, satisfactory nice

this is really nice as well, i think it is mackerel

tempura is bad, the batter is more pisang goreng kinda batter and totally not suitable as tempura batter

butteryaki beef, remembered it as just ok

i like their seafood kimchi soup as i am soup person

takoyaki, looks deep fried to me

grilled squid

love their homemade green tea which is not overly sweet, their homemade black sesame ice cream is not nice, it tasted like vanilla ice cream

They sell only 2 types of cakes, both are chocolate cake, one of it being Chocolate Heaven, the other is their signature called Trianon

2 branches, first one is in Citta Mall Ara Damansara

Trianon slice cake, RM9.80, it is not bad, but do find the whole cake quite hard, perhaps not properly defrosted yet. Bottom is crunchy-cereal base. Otherwise, the chocolate taste is nice.

Lot IT-003A Tunnel Link B1,
