I was at first a bit worried i might not like the buffet so much as not fond of eating so much meat which is what mostly offered when you hear the word BBQ, but my worries are unfounded. In fact, the Thursday BBQ buffet offer almost everything you can ever think of. Beverages – water/coffee/tea is not self-service, but is is available on request. I would have prefer to take my own water/beverages as my water is not refill until requested.

Go back for more sashimi, salmon and yellowfin, and i think the middle is a different kind of fish, great marbling and all tasty, only slight kink is the wasabi taste very mild, but i overheard my neighbour asking for freshly grated wasabi, and the restaurant people happily obliged.

Overall, their salmon is really good, even the normal salmon is good, salmon belly is just a tad better. But both are really yummy. The truffle mash potatoes is quite good as well.

You can park in One Mont Kiara mall, and walk to Fat Fish, save on the parking fee as the Shoplex Mont’ Kiara parking fee is slightly more expensive.

Must must make reservation else you risk being turned away just like i did previously.

Address: The Fat Fish

Dinner with bf <3 Only 2 of us, and having this big portion of tomyam (show in the price tag RM50!), the prawn is definitely big and yummy, but i find the tomyam broth is ok-la (as i know they uses artificial lime juice, don’t know which shop doesn’t :p)

My colleagues and I wanted to eat spaghetti buffet in Secrets of Louisiana at first, but last minute change of plan, because the Grumps (next door to S.O.L.) has pasta buffet as well, as it is cheaper, RM16.90 vs Secret of Louisiana’s RM19.90 i think

TheGrumps_All_You_Can_Eat2

The soup is probably the only highlight of the meal. This taste freshly prepared instead of those canned mushroom soup. I had bowls of these, and many slices of garlic toast. Yum!

The pasta sauce basically taste very much the same, tomatoey with hints of chicken granules taste (as i find it is little bit too salty), not going back definitely.
