Wild honey apple pear pork chop, RM32.80,

flavor is not bad, however do prefer if the fat of the pork is more rendered/tender, whereas it was hard and very chewy

BreadFruits_2

My brunch pasta with 7-minute egg, RM20.80

quite nice, have had this for the 3rd time now.

Croissant_Delicatessen1

Got an invitation from Oliver of Croissant Delicatessen to try out sandwiches with croissant as base in his 2-weeks old shop. Their shop is just next to Subway in Hartamas shopping centre

Croissant_Delicatessen2

A simple menu. They also have flavored croissant (garlic/pumpkin/wasabi) whereby the flavouring is mixed into the dough during breadmaking process

Croissant_Delicatessen3

All the ingredients look fresh and crisp. Their croissant is made from all butter, none of that yucky shortening / margarine.

Croissant_Delicatessen4

ordered their fruit tea in raspberry flavor RM7, like the subtle flavor in cold one better than too strong raspberry flavor in hot one.

Croissant_Delicatessen5

Grilled German Bratwurst, RM15.80, the croissant is toasted till quite crispy. Oliver has noted customers like it crispy but not too crispy, ie crispy enough to hold the fillings, but still tender buttery inside would be perfect

Croissant_Delicatessen6

I like this garlic and basil pesto chicken sandwich, RM15.80

Croissant_Delicatessen7

Mixed berries chantilly, RM12.80, the house-made chantilly is really nice, and fresh mint is a nice touch, only thing is i would have prefer is the chocolate to be less sweet

Address: Croissant Delicatessen
Plaza Damas Boulevard, Outside Hartamas Shopping Centre, Kuala Lumpur

Business hour: 10am – 10pm daily

Update (16th December 2014): This shop already closed 🙁 when i went there today

Fru-T-Pop1

Their signature flavour – Fru-T-Pop, blended with various fruits, including 2 grape halve and half strawberry and slice of kiwi in it(picture below) sweet from natural fruit like watermelon, mango etc, nice!

Fru-T-Pop2

The other side of Fru-T-pop popsicle

Fru-T-Pop3

To the right is mango with strawberry.

Very refreshing fruits ice sticks made with fresh fruit juice with no preservative and added sugar, yummy, only RM4.90 per stick, too bad they are closed on Sundays, and open only till around 5pm on Mon-Sat. Not picture here is also my favourite flavour of orange with lime, very refreshing from the orange juice and slight sourish from lime.

Address: Fru-T-Pop

22, Jalan Sri Hartamas 8, Sri Hartamas, 50480 KL

Sugimoto1

One of the cheapest and best place to have Japanese lunch, but their lunch menu is only till 2pm 🙁

Above is their lunch bento box: RM16 for 2 choice of dish and RM20 for 3 choices of dish

Sugimoto2

So many choices

Sugimoto3

Other lunch sets are value of money as well as they are quite big portion

Sugimoto4

Yummy chawanmushi

Sugimoto5

My favourite lunch set(only RM30) Rice topped with mixed sashimi fish, mini soba/udon soup

Sugimoto6

Look at this!!! They definitely don’t skip on the sashimi, they gave a lot of it even with unagi pieces, definitely the best sashimi rice i have so far.

Sugimoto7

RM16 lunch bento set with 2 grilled salmon pieces

Address: Sugimoto Japanese Restaurant, owned by Everlasting Gain Sdn Bhd (didn’t know they also have a branch in Bangsar’s Jalan Telawi 2)
