Fru-T-Pop1

Their signature flavour – Fru-T-Pop, blended with various fruits, including 2 grape halve and half strawberry and slice of kiwi in it(picture below) sweet from natural fruit like watermelon, mango etc, nice!

Fru-T-Pop2

The other side of Fru-T-pop popsicle

Fru-T-Pop3

To the right is mango with strawberry.

Very refreshing fruits ice sticks made with fresh fruit juice with no preservative and added sugar, yummy, only RM4.90 per stick, too bad they are closed on Sundays, and open only till around 5pm on Mon-Sat. Not picture here is also my favourite flavour of orange with lime, very refreshing from the orange juice and slight sourish from lime.

One of the cheapest and best place to have Japanese lunch, but their lunch menu is only till 2pm :(

Above is their lunch bento box: RM16 for 2 choice of dish and RM20 for 3 choices of dish

Sugimoto2

So many choices

Sugimoto3

Other lunch sets are value of money as well as they are quite big portion

Sugimoto4

Yummy chawanmushi

Sugimoto5

My favourite lunch set(only RM30) Rice topped with mixed sashimi fish, mini soba/udon soup

Sugimoto6

Look at this!!! They definitely don’t skip on the sashimi, they gave a lot of it even with unagi pieces, definitely the best sashimi rice i have so far.

Sugimoto7

RM16 lunch bento set with 2 grilled salmon pieces

Located above 7-11 in Hartmas

Hartamas_Macguli2

Macguli Korean & Japanese fusion restaurant maned by 4 young chef

Hartamas_Macguli3

Was famished, and the complementary sizzling pan fried egg and other dishes are a welcoming sight indeed. Their black sesame gelatinous noodle is quite nice, they keep on checking whether any of the dishes above(except egg) are finished and are fast in refilling them.

Hartamas_Macguli4

Bibimbap with nice spring onion soup, around RM30

Hartamas_Macguli5

The kimchi pancake around RM20 is huge and oily, not so fond of this

Hartamas_Macguli6

Complementary dessert of icy sweet rice-dessert

Overall, this RM98 deal is not half bad :) the restaurant is quite empty but the food are better than expected, it is good to have peking duck wrap in pancake skin and crunchy cucumber once in a while

Sugimoto1-Kaisen-Saikoro-Don

Sushi Rice served with diced cut raw fish + soba + chawanmushi, RM30, they are abundant of fish cubes, unagi slices on top of the rice, unlike the expensive and meagre one served in Tokutoku in Bukit Bintang

Sugimoto2-Nabeyaki-Udon-Salmon-Don

My Nabeyaki udon with mini sushi rice topped with sliced salmon + chawanmushi. RM30, very nice and satisfying as well, but i find the “Sushi Rice served with diced cut raw fish” has more sashimi and more worth it

Sugimoto3-Chawan-mushi

nice chawanmushi

Sugimoto10-Volcano-Roll

Volcano Roll, RM20, not as good as i remember, it is a bit too cloying after  a while as the grilled fish flake mixture is with much mayonaise.

Sugimoto4-Lunch-Boxes

They have lunch box at either RM16(2 choice of dish) or RM20(3 choices of dish you want)

Sugimoto8-Special-Roll

Miss their volcano Roll, but didn’t order as the sets we ordered are big enough portion

Sugimoto9-address

Overall, their set is very worth it, not sure these RM30 set are available for dinner as well :P very nice, big portion and affordable japanese food.

The restaurant has a healthy flow of customer while we were there on a Saturday afternoon. Worth a revisit.
