This restaurant is located in Sekinchan, it is about 90km from KL City, just continue driving past Kuala Lumpur, it is bout half an hour from Kuala Selangor, turn left once pass Caltex (they will a a sign “Bagan Sekinchan”)
What we came for, Shark Porridge (this is spicy, they have clear ones too), RM13-14 for this 4-person’s portion. One person’s one cost RM5-6
Fried Shark, yummm, RM13-14
Crispy baby octopus
All the food above + 1 vege cost only RM53, more than enough for the four of us. According to the lady boss, they are 3 kinds of shark they are using here, the ones used in porridge is baby shark, white in colour, the ones used for stir fry is black species sharks (with spots), and they have another kind which is more fatty and taste oily like pork (they usually don’t serve this to customer unless requested as it is a little more fishy)… ummm, taste like pork, must try it one day.
Washroom where waste is direct to the sea 😛
Scenery next to washroom
Not far away(10 mins drive away), they are fishery companies.
019-371 6133 or 03-3241 1345
Another fishery company
Some catch of octopus, too bad we don’t know the times the fishing boat coming back and can’t buy any fresh catch.

This stall is man by a middle age couple 😛 My customer recommended it, i could say this stall might have been here for sometimes and has their regular customer, and it is the only food available in this whole coffee shop
Overall, i am not used to this style, the weird char siew colour fish cake etc
This stall is located just behind Courts Mammoth, it is a corner coffee shop

Am so far back on blog updates, photos taken, but still to blog bout them. Been busy with work, just came back from working trip to Johor (4 days 3 nights) and next week will most probably be the last trip (for live run) and i do need a break… ;\ especially since didn’t have leave this thursday where it is suposed to be Selangor public holiday.
Went to tis morning market in Seremban for breakfast.
The stall which is suposedly the famous beef noodle stall is not open for business.
So, we had this stall instead.
Not as good.
The far end…the right most stall is the one which sells Seremban Siew Paul, and it is sold out at 10:30am, huh?

Mum borrow a recipe book from National library which is all about Chiffon Cake: sweet potato chiffon, yam chiffon, cheese chiffon, orange chiffon etc. Finally tried this sweet potato version, there is also an online blog detailing purple sweet potato chiffon – Do What I Like.

100g of sweet potato needed, here steamed.
Mashed sweet potato, oil, sugar, coconut milk mixed together. Fluffed up with some meringue which i have beat up.
The rest of the meringue, to be fold into sweet potato mixture
Before baked
Baked and cooled, slightly pulled away from side of mould. Baking time 30-49mins at 170 Celcius.
I don’t recommend this recipe, as this chiffon is slightly denser than usual chiffon, and sweet potato taste, unique, could just give it a try using taro, with beautiful purple color. 🙂
