Medan Cendol & Laksa MPKK in KK
Stalls selling solely Laksa and Cendol, i think they rotate their business hours, while i was there, only 2 or 3 stalls are open for business
Yummy, can’t get enough of malay style assam laksa from north of Malaysia.
Cendol
Found one nice laksa like those i ate in Kuala Kangsar in none other than Jusco Food Court in 1 Utama, it is next to a malay mix rice area. very nice, sourish, and clear soup.
Papillon is a a new restaurant in Solaris Dutamas, if not for a friend who worked there, i would never have known its existence, it is not facing the main road, shoplots around are mainly still empty, Comida restaurant is 2 shops away, duduk cafe is on the same row further away etc. They currently have a deal until 20th-ish August for ala carte dinner buffet(Monday – Saturday) for RM28.80 nett. This deal is supposed to be only for those who bought this RM28.80 voucher in Mydeal.com.my, but they decided to offer it to walk-ins as well. But be sure to call in for reservation especially on Saturdays as i think they serve an “optimum” capacity of about 25 pax on Saturdays.
interior
Free flow of drinks: their ice lemon tea is made with fresh lemon and taste nice
Yummy carrot orange soup, french onion soup is okay
Mushroom soup is not bad
Chicken Chop
BBQ Chicken, taste very similar to chicken chop, only difference is the sauce
BBQ Lamb shoulder with broccoli and fries, tasty
Grill Barramundi Fish, yum
Aglio Olio Prawn Paste is quite nice
Cheese Burger without the cheese :S, their chunky fries are piping hot(soft center and crispy on the outside)
forget about the chicken burger, it sure is homemade kinda meat and it taste and feels floury

Ala-carte menu
Overall, the food is tasty and best of all the drinks are free flow. Some kinks here and there need to be ironed out as some of the menu items like hot dog was not available although it is on the menu, cheese burger with no cheese etc, mix fruit with no ice cream. For RM28.80 nett, it is worth a try, their head chef is supposedly been head chef in the Palace of the Golden Horse.

Ko Hyang is one of my favourite korean food places. Above is stir fried chicken with vegetables
Rice cake soup (Tuk Guk), very yummy and satisfying, the soup is filled with egg “clouds” ~ RM13
Korean style pan Mee, RM12.50, love it as the noodle is hand torn and nice
Bi bim bap, RM15.90, healthy yummy rice topped with various vegetables
Kimchi Fried Rice(Kim Chi Bokem Bab), RM13.90, not nice, i much prefer the simple kim chi fried rice from Jusco mid valley supermarket section, this one just taste weird with sesame seed and don’t fancy that they put in quite a bit of onion in it
soup which comes with kimchi fried rice
Kal Guk So, Spinach Handmade Seafood Noodle, RM12.50
Snow ice, top with raisin and red bean, surrounded by nato-de-coco textured jelly
The jelly is quite nice, can try
