I received an email from Sandy of Foodlogy to review the restaurant whereby both her and her sister are the cook, serving French Italian food in Viva Residency, Jalan Ipoh.

Mushroom Truffle Cream Soup, RM18.90, prefer a more earthy brownish mushroom soup.

Potato artichoke salad, RM18.90 with baby green peas, beef bacon and mustard hollandaise mayo sauce

Tomato Mozzarella Panini, RM16.90 with sundried tomato and basil pesto, good flavor and nice bread, perhaps can put some fresh tomato to up the sandwich and make it more juicy

Banh Mi, RM17.90, Vietnamese style toast baguette with chicken liver pate and pickled onion and carrot, nice bread, overall their bread are of good standard

Soft centered chocolate cake with caramel sauce, RM15.90, very nice, recommended, nice chocolatey flavor without being too sweet

Raspberry opera cake, RM13.90, very nice, we manage to polish both desserts although very full from all the soup/salad/main dishes etc

They have a huge dining area with 50 pax seating capacity ideal for group gathering.

Overall, the desserts are highly recommended, and their Volrhona chocolate is nice.

Spicy Fish Roe soup, RM18, the fish roe has terrible texture and very rough and not nice at all, whereas the soup is not bad with kimchi taste

Very good korean pancake which already half eaten before this picture is taken, and it is complimentary, could be the best i have tasted, the texture is just good, and not oily!
