Miscellaneous food musings, food photos taken over period of 1 year i guess, and finally clear all backlog of food photos from my Ipod after posting following 43 photos below.

Misc1-BEN_General_Store1

Ben’s Grocer in Publika, above is crabmeat corn salad with fish pie. The salad is quite refreshing with fresh corns and some arugula/rockets. The fish pie though loaded with ingredients(fish, mussel etc), i find the sauce quite milky and rich

Misc2-BEN_General_Store2

Orecchiette pea salad and mushroom lagsana with pesto, the mushroom lasagna bechamel sauce is quite rich as well, and i find it is loaded with the cheaper oyster mushroom instead of the tastier and more expensive fresh white mushroom

Misc3-Delicious1

was craving for fries when i was sick few months back. Above is shoestring fries from Delicious. prefer thicker cut fries.

Misc4-Delicious2

Above is minestrone soup, healthy and tomatoey i like since i read somewhere that tomato can prevent sun damage on skin!? 🙂

Misc5-FatBoy1

Misc18-Nong_And_Jimmy1

Nong & Jimmy in Pandan Indah, above is baked crab

Misc19-Nong_And_Jimmy2

boiled cockles, fried rice etc, a satisfying meal in Nong & Jimmy

Misc20-Nong_And_Jimmy3

Baked crab is good, didn’t try the other crab at far end

Misc21-PJ_Village_Park1

The Famous Village Park nasi lemak in PJ

Misc22-PJ_Village_Park2

Misc23-Publika-China-Wok1

Publika’s China Wok chicken rice looks sad

Misc24-Publika-China-Wok2

Their fish head noodle is very forgetable, i asked for thick mee hoon, and they said it is thick kind, but it is clearly NOT 🙁

Misc25-Publika-FreeMori

Free Mori in Publika! the best bakery in my book as of now, better than The Loaf, Lavender etc. I like the buttery taste in their pastry, tried their “Sampan” which is a blueberry cheese pastry

Misc33-PorridgeTime

loads of porrridge choices

Adds on to porridge

Misc35-Vietnamese-dessert

Colleague made vietnamese dessert – glutinuous tice with yam with coconut cream, the taste is really good but the rice is cooked till too mushy

Misc39-product-dessert-Sun_Moulin_Sandwich

Nice sandwich from Sun Moulin in KLCC, their bread is buttery brioche like with ham and cheese filling

Misc40-product-dessert-Viva_Home_Nolita_Frozen_Yogurt

Frozen yogurt from Nolita in Cheras Viva mall is by far the cheapest froyo i found, with one free topping! It does taste a bit more milky than sourish though, but still worth trying. Above is almond with i think dried apricot/peach

Misc41-product-First-Pride-Nugget

First pride chicken nuggets are spicy and not bad, they supposedly manufacture Mcdonald’s chicken nugget.

Misc42-product-Garrett_Popcorn

Very yummy Garrett’s popcorn in 1Utama, love their caramel with macadamia nuts

Misc43-product-Maggi

And lastly, a picture of my favourite maggi flavour – asam laksa
