Looks like i have too much time on hand…
Who makes better yogurt? Dutch Lady’s, Nestle or Marigold
Pictured above
Dutch Lady Shine (zero fat): RM1.99
Dutch Lady yogurt: RM1.69
Marigold yogurt: RM1.49
Nestle yogurt: RM1.79
Picture left to right is same sequence of the first pic
Shine exudes a scary bright red color(prob due to it is raspberry strawberry flavor, while the rest are all strawberries)
Verdict:
Shine: the worst among all, taste artificial and the color scares me. also the priciest at RM1.99.
Dutch lady: creamy, sour and sweet and the same time, nice
Marigold: the palest color of them all, also surprisingly best tasting, creamy, and have the most strawberry bits
Nestle: texture is similar to Shine, prob due to the zero percent fat factor, kinda grainy and watery, not creamy
Winner: Marigold… 😀

Wasabi pea, RM17.90, mum finished all within 3 days, i guess it is good.
RM10.90, I like this one, it is good to munch on this hard shoyu cracker which looks very low in fat… haha
RM2.20, this looks healthy, but nutritional value wise(per 100g), it gives about 5 times more energy than shoyu cracker; 10 times more fat than shoyu cracker. 😛
taste like normal seaweed although this one is made in Japan, RM9.90

If you ever go to Batu Pahat, which is about 250km from Kuala Lumpur, do stop by this confectionary gift shop, i like their sweet bean cake which pictured on the right. It cost RM3 for this handy pack. It is made from green bean, sugar, vegetable oil and wheat floor. Unlike its penang counterpart which has a pungent onion powder smell and taste(to me anyway), this has a mellowy sweet cooling taste. Also available is savoury bean cake, but i like this sweet version better.
Yong Sheng have branches in Muar(Johor), Melaka, Batu Pahat(Johor), Taman Sri Tebrau(Johor) and Kluang(Johor).

My colleague brought back this tea from his Japan trip. This can cost bout RM60. According to him, there is generally 4 grades of tea/green tea? And this sencha is one of the sub-grade in the 3rd grade, 1st grade being the best in quality. Apparently, Teramachi-dori Nijo is among one of the famous tea shops there, just like Purple Cane is to Malaysia.
Direction for taking this tea. For first steeping, it takes about 1 minutes, we steep it a minute too long that time, and it taste bitter, never knew they is such details step on tea making… anyway, not my cuppa tea to learn these technique 😉
