one of my favourite place to have a comforting steamboat meal, guiltless “gorge” on food as steamboat is seen as more oiless and healthier meal 😛

Here they have pumpkin porridge option in addition to the usual clear soup and tom yam soup base. RM14.90/pax

looks very little, but it is enough to fill you up just nicely. I think their soup MSG free.

a noodle shop in Taman Muda, Cheras
Pan Mee with fish paste, about RM5.50, looks like maggi mee but it is actually pan mee

Fish paste noodle, ~ RM5.50, like the soup with milk
Food here is really big portion and has a homely feel with stall manned by few friendly aunties.

bought 2 drumsticks, RM6 each, don’t like it at all, expect it to be like herbal chicken, but it turn out slightly “metallicy”… umm, i don’t know how to describe, maybe the chicken is not wrap well enough, and the burned salt taste penetrated into it.
Location: Taman Muda pasar malam (Sunday night)

Here is a mobile pan mee stall selling from a van, in Taman Muda, Cheras pasar malam, every Sunday night.
Seems like they have enough bowls and chopsticks to last the whole night, bowls are seen everywhere around the eating area, and no one in sight to wash them.
Spicy PanMee
My original pan Mee, RM4
What draws me to this stall other than i am a pan mee fan is their claim of using homemade noodle, homemade fried anchovies, homemade fried shallots, homemade chili sauce and homemade stock, in fact the stock is clear with light sweetness. Nice~
