Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen, Taman Tun (near 1 Utama)

Popeye fast food in Taman Tun Dr Ismail, near 1 Utama Shopping Center.
i had a 2pcs chicken set(includes 2 pc chick, coleslaw, biscuit, mash potatoes and coke) The chicken is not oily, but i still prefer KFC version which is more flavourfully spiced. Biscuit is ok, i had better few years back in US, here they prob use the ready-made mix… coleslaw(not pictured here) is better than KFC as it has gherkins bits and rougher cut. Unlike KFC, here you can mix spicy and mild fried chicken, but although i asked for one spicy and one mild, could hardly taste any difference.
mash potatoes i something i have never seen before, the gravy has chili bits in it(mildly spicy) and also bits of meat, probably chicken in it. As a gravy and potato lover, this definitely suits me.
remember to order a large mash potatoes with gravy SEPARATED, then they will give you 2 small tubs of gravy, yeah, and you have more gravy if you ask them to separate it… hehe
looking out, competition(KFC) is nearby to the right.
similar options with KFC
they also selling: fish, shrimps, cajun fries, cheesecake dessert etc
menu 1
menu 2
The thing i like bout Popeye is their mash potatoes with wonderful gravy, and also their pricing! they don’t have government tax, service tax, wat you see on the menu is what you paying for.
