In conjunction with Malaysian Airlines membership program – Enrich partnering with Shangri La, i get to dine in Shangri La Lemon Garden Cafe. We went for the Thursday BBQ Dinner Buffet, RM188 nett.

Step 1: Go to Malaysian Airline Enrich Member page to redeem RM50 Enrich vouchers

Step 2: Dine in any participating restaurants

Step 3: Present your Enrich vouchers upon payment

I was at first a bit worried i might not like the buffet so much as not fond of eating so much meat which is what mostly offered when you hear the word BBQ, but my worries are unfounded. In fact, the Thursday BBQ buffet offer almost everything you can ever think of. Beverages – water/coffee/tea is not self-service, but is is available on request. I would have prefer to take my own water/beverages as my water is not refill until requested.

Even cheeses available: Camembert/Port Salut/Brie/Emmental, also cream cracker, apricot and raisins

Another highlight: freshly roasted lamb! with grilled green/yellow zucchini on top

Kebab, with tahini sauce and garlic sauce, love the sauces, didn’t have the kebab though

my first plate of food: the sashimi is very nice, especially the salmon and butterfish. Yum~ First time having yabby, it is fleshy and delicious.

beriani rice, fish curry, roast lamb, some relish, 2 cubes of zucchini, 1 stalk of asparagus, few pieces of mushroom, grilled squid, 2 pieces of grilled zucchini and a roast potato. Haha… The roast lamb is nice, too bad didn’t have more because not enough stomach space

cheeses, mash potato cutlet, ciabatta, tomato with fresh mozzarella, pizza, and eggplant lasagne. The fresh mozza with tomato is really nice,

cheesecake, bread pudding, fruit jelly and apricot madelines. The jelly is nice, wonder what it is made of, gelatine?

The lone bbq item which i had. Wish i had tried kebab and fish bbq, but it is too huge, and don’t think i can finished it…

They are so much to eat, and wish i had tried a few other items: bbq kebab, kebab with pita, crab curry, more roast lamb etc etc, was so full at the end of the meal, went home and went straight to sleep -_-”
