This quaint restaurant is situated in Kepong, behind Carrefour Kepong, for exact location, you can refer to map at the end of this post. Surprisingly not many people blog about this place, the food is tasty, the price is affordable. There is a steady in flow of customer although it is still an early evening at 6:30pm, some couples, family, even one family with an elderly, a cosy crowd of people who are looks like repeat customers.
Atmosphere wise, they is a soothing “my greek fat wedding” kinda music, or was it Italian music? can’t be sure. Although this is Kepong, not the impeccably dressed kinda place, but the decorations, music and an Italian(i think he is) chef and owner in house, you just feel like you are somewhere in the Italy countryside, sipping fresh juice, enjoying… lalala…
tasteful decoration, checkered tablecloth which reminds me of Italianies.
Set lunch 1, RM9.90. If we were here for lunch, it is a steal to choose from any of the 3 set lunches.
Set lunch 2, RM14.90
Set lunch 3: RM29.90
Starters, soup and salad
drinks selection
pizza and main course selection(risotto, salmon, lamb shank etc)
That’s the Italian chef in the middle, bending down checking the pizza perhaps, he was busy making extra Tiramisu, making pizza, in between making runs to the kitchens behind.
food, ice lemon tea RM3
mushroom soup, RM6.80, although the soup base is most probably Campbell’s, they is so much of mushroom in the soup, namely oyster mushroom and fresh white mushroom!!! yummy RM6.80
the most basic pizza, Magherita, tomato and cheese, RM10.90
lamb shank with risotto in spicy tomato sauce, love the sauce, sourish and slightly spicy, very appetising, the lamb might had freezer burn because some part of it is dry. RM25.90. Risotto taste lovely, slightly undercook just the way they like it in Italy, or so i heard.
Must try Tiramisu, freshly made, with thick whipped cream, sponge soak in expresso, topped with cocoa powder and drizzled with Hershey’s chocolate syrup, so yummy, and the portion is good enough for 2 person. RM8.90
worker taking out portion of tiramisu
drizzling it in Hershey’s syrup, good quality ingredient yo.

Recommended, definitely worth a revisit

Update: 22-MAR-2014: they seems to changed their menu, no more cream cheesey taste dessert, but more of icy snowy ice

Went to this dessert house located near Carrefour Kepong in Jalan Metro Perdana Barat 2. If you are coming from Jalan Ipoh to Kepong, once you pass Carrefour, continue driving, turn right once you see HSBC bank, continue driving for a while then turn left… This shop is diagonally across from Yami Yami steamboat, and few shops away from Gasoline restaurant.
Menu 1
Menu 2
inside the shop
We had left Chocolate Cheese and right Watermelon cheese, like the chocolate, not so much the watermelon as the color is a bit artificial. RM5.90 each.
Bottom of the snowy ice is a glob of cream cheese mixture, nice, this dessert is not too sweet and the ice is really fine and smooth.
They sell cute stuff too (plush toys, photo frame etc)
this is why i am blogging this entry, as they will give FREE icy food if you are selected as their blogger for the week.

Lil something to fill up my stomach, i find this to be a decent Pan Mee stall, although nothing much to shout about, i do like that they have halved “limau” which is a nice addition to the soup.
loh pan mee, RM4.30, generally find pan mee cooked this style is not nice, but does fill you up nicely.
my pan mee with soup, RM3.80
Previous post
Opening hour: 7:00am – 10:00pm(but they do close early if the pan mee is sold out)

One fine working day, me and my colleague ordered dominos for lunch, they do delivery from Putrajaya to Cyberjaya, amazed that they can actually delivered it within 30 mins. Once i ordered, the lady on the phone told me that i will be given RM10 voucher if it does not  reach me at 30mins. It reach 30mins sharp… This two cost us RM26.80(all inclusive). They is a promotion now till 31st March 2009: 1 regular pizza regular price, get next regular pizza for RM3. (just quote the promotion code: MAX 2)
I do find their pizza to be good, better than Pizza Hut which has too thick of a crust, and too oily.
