Kiehl’s is an American brand that made landing in Malaysia just this past year (i think), first flagship store in Pavillion and currently they have a store in MidValley Shopping Center, ground floor (near Vincci shoe store). I was looking for moisturiser for the face, and they recommended me 4 choices, and gave me 4 samples(2 are made from Yerba Mate(green colored packets) and 2 others).
The ones they recommended are:
1. Yerba Mate Tea Lotion, alright (cost RM150 i think)
2. Yerba Mate Gel Cream, a bit too rich for me
3. Sodium PCA Oil Free Moisturizer, the name of this product enough to freak some ppl out i guess, i mean it is like what kind of chemical am i putting onto my face?! but it really feel “humectant” just as it claim, it forms a film over your skin, and probably a good barrier between skin and make up
4. Ultra Facial Moisturizer, feel like a good normal moisturiser, also because i think it is expensive too
Skincare, healthcare, health supplements are probably the most profitable business of all, i mean how do i ever knows it works, and even that i have to spend so much to find out… especially skincare, with all the claims of certain products, and promises to reduce dark circles, fine lines, it is like does it really work… who knows it is just some beautiful words to pander to every girls dream to be young and beautiful.
Also, currently Vichy is on promotion till 14 June 2009, in Watson, 20-30% off, this is a brand which i tried before, not mistaken it is a Montreal-Canadian/French brand… ah i am so unwilling to part with $$ for… :S hahaha
Anyway, just in case you want to try Kiehl’s products, they are now giving out samples, go get some ;P

Bet you heard of 3M, the Post-it notes, but have you heard of Acne Patch, by none other than 3M. I read of it from Skin Deco: Enhancing Natural Beauty, it sound so cool and mess-free, so today after Saturday morning workout at gym, i went searching for this patch in Watson. Excuse my dull photo, you could refer to Skin Deco for clearer pic. It is on 15% discount, i got the 18pcs pack, there is a smaller pack(9pcs i think, normal price RM4.70) and a bigger pack(36 pcs, normal price RM12.90), 18pcs normal price is RM8.30… you could find it at the bandage/band-aid section or mask section. Have not tried this out yet, but i think it will work… hehe… overnight “miracle” to get rid of the stubborn whitish pus… Ewww
Anyway, there is some good “deal” going on… i bought the 18pcs one, which is before discount RM8.30, but upon paying it shown normal price RM4.90, and i only paid about RM4.20 for tis. Did told one of the staff but i guess she is not manager, just said “wat to do”… so it is now up to your conscience… hahaha. Anyway in Canada, they is this practise whereby if you bought something in supermarket cheaper than what is shown on their flyer, they will give you the the first item free, let’s say you bought 3 of the item, then you tell them the price is incorrect, they will give you the first item free, not mistaken, it is a law there.

Few weeks ago, finally time to change the car battery after a lil more than 4 years using the Yokohama battery which comes with the car. This cost me RM165, if i trade in the old battery, they will give me RM5 off, but i didn’t as i think it is worth RM10 or more, am i correct?
This battery is maintenance free, namely you don’t need to fill in battery water, you will change it only if you can’t start your car smoothly.
