Heard about this value for money ala carte japanese buffet from iamthewitch.com, only RM29.90++ for dinner buffet(available everyday) and lunch buffet(for weekend only). According to waitress there, this promo has been on going for 5 months already, they are unsure of the ending date, saying if you can’t see the banner as above means the promo is over :P This restaurant is somewhere near Giant in Bandar Putri Puchong, it is not at the side of Giant, opposite Giant passing thru the main road… near Bumbu Bali/A Wet Thai restaurant area…

they have 26 items as above which is 50% off during lunch hours.

bianco outdoor seating place, they have sunday brunch for last sunday of each month, price at RM27++, 12noon-5pm, you can see their sunday brunch buffet menu here, it is quite a steal, although some of the food are let on the buffet table for quite a while.

buffet table: different type of salad and dessert

3 kinds of pizza: gambretto(shrimp), al funghi(mushroom) and pepperoni

soup of the day-carrot soup

bread: multigrain, ciabatta and plain white

salads: smoke salmon, mushroom and breaded brie

more salads: caramelised corn and shrimp, green mussel with rockets

scones with jam, too dense

fish and chips, quite good(order from an ala carte sheet, included in RM27 buffet), few dishes and pasta are cooked to order.

drinks menu, only plain water included in the buffet

fried chicken, normal, like the homely mashed potato

big breakfast set: 2 eggs(scramble/sunny side/omelet), chicken sausage, grilled tomato, crispy beef bacon(tasted sweet :\ ) and baked beans

thai garlic shrimp with olive rice, like this, shrimp is fresh

linguine cabonara, with beef bacon

spicy lamb with potato stew, with a sunny side up, a comforting dish

Overall worth going for a wholesome meal, a lot of salad, simple soup etc.

Munakata in Jalan Sultan Ismail is another japanese restaurant offering ala carte buffet. Munakata must trys are salmon sashimi, teppanyaki king oyster mushroom, prawn tempura(not oily) and chawanmushi. Whereas Komura must trys includes teppanyaki enoki mushroom, teppanyaki scallop, agedashi tofu and fresh fruit platter(nice after a filling meal).
