Above using recipe from Tangerine’s Kitchen, it is sealed in kitchen wrap for rising.
After rise, not much different
fried, looks good, but really dense and will probably choke if you don’t take it with some liquid stuff.
Second try using recipe from Allie Food Talk , above pic is before rise.
After dough rested for few hours, looks slightly larger.
supposedly want to make into doughnut shape, but the dough is hard to handle, too sticky, so it become doughnut balls instead. White stuff below are sugar, put too much on it. 😛 Taste pretty OK, you know, doughnut… As usual, didn’t follow the recipe exactly, substitute butter with corn oil, substitute water with milk instead as i had no milk powder, maybe that’s why the dough turn out too sticky to be shaped.

Heard of this pepper lunch, finally chanced upon Pepper Lunch Express in food court of Funan Digital Mall, next to hotel where we staying – Peninsula Excelsior Singapore.
Unagi which my colleague had, smell really fishy and not fresh.
I had beef Pepper lunch, they put lotsa pepper on top of the rice, just stir the uncooked beef on hot place, then chow, quite good. only about S$5.80
expensive fish soup in The Coffee Connoisseur, a famous coffee chain in Singapore, almost S$10 for this, but it does taste good 😛
Dian Xiao Er, a restaurant famed for their herbal duck.
I tapao quartered herbal duck, cost S$12.80++, expensive. They currently having promotion for dine in, if you are going Mon-Thursday, over S$50 and paying using Citibank card, you get 10% off (so many conditions eh)
Chewy Junior Pavillion, but 6 get 3 free.
really really good, chewy, cream within and above the pastry. Not too sweet, RM2.50. Above is cheese, cheese + strawberry.
Tidbits avail to Microsoft Singapore employees at tea break FOC, look what they get: unsalted macadamia nuts, dried cherry tomato, dried cranberry, almonds, mixed etc. I took some of these too 🙂
mutton curry, Microsoft Singapore Cafeteria Olio at 21st floor, about S$4.70
chicken rendang, S$4.70 (Microsoft Singapore Cafeteria)
Kunyit Fish, S$4.70 (Microsoft Singapore Cafeteria) I am getting bored of their food, all of these local meals: mutton curry, chicken rendang, kunyit fish looks almost the same, and taste about the same, will try other options there next time.
Went to Multimedia University(MMU) in Cyberjaya for lunch
Ayam Penyet, RM6, Malay meal or in this case Indonesian meals aren’t really my thing.
Shapes by Arnott bought from Singapore(4 flavors: Barbeque, Pizza, Cheddar and Cheese+Bacon) just some munching fun, find it a tad too salty. about S$6.50
Indian meal in Multimedia University (MMU) Cyberjaya, my plates of three kinds of potatoes(forefront) cost RM3!!!, next time should stick to bigger portion of just one kind of potato.

Update (08-FEB-2014: Crystal Jade is no longer in Pavillion, it is now replaced by Dragon-I restaurant)

Teng2 Zai2 Porridge(Cantonese) with fish, cuttlefish, chicken, peanuts, spring onion, ginger, really really good, this portion is big enough for big eater like me, RM8.80
Mango Cream with Sago and Pomelo, really good too,  RM8, lots of pomelo and the mango cream has nice mango aroma, good stuff, cheaper and much better than the dissapointing one in HK Dessert House, Kepong.
Braised peanuts served here is not complementary, but charged at RM3, suspects it is canned peanuts… hehe…

char siew pastry, so-so as i am not char siew lover.
egg custard tart, used to be better, oily.
prawn steamed rice roll
prawn dumplings
xiao long pau, small and thick skin :\
siew mai, very good, must order, top with scallop and the egg roe on top is juicy.
char siew pau
tea is RM4 for person, totaled just short of RM180, we had about 2 sets of each order. parking rate is insane in hotel, we dine for less than 1.5 hours, and the parking fee is RM8.

Bengawan Solo selling famous Indonesian delicacies.
layer cakes which are oh so expensive.
I bought one slice of cheese swiss roll(S$1.20), however it taste much of margerine/butter/cream, wish it were more salty and cheesy instead.
Mr Bean, a franchise selling soy bean products, i love their pan cake thingy(esp red bean and cheese, price at S$1.10 to S$1.20), their soya bean ice cream is really good.
Mr Bean ice cream, S$1.80(cup) or S$1.50(cone)
FairPrice supermarket located in Changi Terminal 1, level B2 if not mistaken, can come here to get some food souvenier back, price are cheaper than if you were to buy from some exclusive chocolate shop etc in the airport.
Select Airport Staff Canteen, level B1 of Changi airport, little known canteen in Terminal 1 of Changi, food here are cheap, averaging S$3.50-S$5, airport staff can buy food here at cheaper price. Must go.
