highlight of the buffet, the salmon sashimi and yellowfin sashimi are reallyyyy good, with good marbling and really yummy. The tuna taste better than what i usually had, the butterfish is normal. Go for the salmon and yellowfin definitely.

Dessert table, not a huge selection, but highlight is the strawberries and green tea ice cream which is also included in the buffet is available upon request.

ShangriLa_Zipangu_11

my fish plate of food, yum~ Never had japanese so early of the day, noon day sashimi are so luxurious, thanks to MAS Enrich + Shangri La for sponsoring my meal.

ShangriLa_Zipangu_12

My style of soba, in miso soap, not bad, yum~

ShangriLa_Zipangu_13

more yummy sashimi and yellowfin sashimi, so delish

ShangriLa_Zipangu_14

The piece of dessert on the left is called potato yokan, taste like red bean, don’t like it. The strawberries are the highlight on the dessert table, they are huge and sweet

ShangriLa_Zipangu_15

Go back for more sashimi, salmon and yellowfin, and i think the middle is a different kind of fish, great marbling and all tasty, only slight kink is the wasabi taste very mild, but i overheard my neighbour asking for freshly grated wasabi, and the restaurant people happily obliged.

ShangriLa_Zipangu_16

More huge and sweet strawberries

ShangriLa_Zipangu_17

Overall, their salmon is really good, even the normal salmon is good, salmon belly is just a tad better. But both are really yummy. The truffle mash potatoes is quite good as well.

You can park in One Mont Kiara mall, and walk to Fat Fish, save on the parking fee as the Shoplex Mont’ Kiara parking fee is slightly more expensive.

Must must make reservation else you risk being turned away just like i did previously.

Their breakfast is hearty, big portion, nice, buttery and very filling, go try! The bacon is of porcine

I had their mango lassi which is quite nice, not too sweet.

Thereafter dessert in Inside Scoop nearby, i guess i will not go back again, though their waffle is very light and nice, i find their ice cream is just a tad too sweet.

One of the best bakery. If you are wanting some good old bread, without those run-of-the-mill bread-improver-soft kind of bread, this could be the only place to go. I used to like Komugi bakery’s crusty french-style bread top with fish roe which is buttery/salty and nice, but they had since stop selling it ):

Above is pistachio roll with i think some dried fruit, nice bite.

Tommy_Le_Baker_2

Banana bread made with atta flour, it is soft and with waft of buttery aroma.

Tommy_Le_Baker_3

almond bites is pretty yummy as well, there is a slight sticky feel to it.

Tommy_Le_Baker_4

Their made in the house chocolate croissant, made with real butter, yum~ Although not looking as tall as some of the mass produced one, but this is delicious!

Tommy_Le_Baker_5
lemon tart is very nice, the tart shell is not soggy at all, yum~

Tommy_Le_Baker_7

banana tart is yummy!

Tommy_Le_Baker_6

Walnut perigord tart, the tart shell is slightly soft and moist, but the filing more than made up for it, and with ample of walnut

Tommy_Le_Baker_8

Mushroom & grilled vege quiche, great taste, just wish it is more heated through though, the inside is not heated enough

Recommended! Must visit~
