my half eaten Bara chirashi don – diced seafood on top of rice, i bought the takeaway one at RM22, and have it dined in. Or you can opt for the dine in version, serve in “real” bowl + a hot miso soup for RM24.

Yummmm, really good, and considered cheap for such generous toppings, lots of sashimi etc pieces and enough rice.

Overall, i think this place is worth a revisit, delicious and good hearty portion.

We went for a light bite since we already had nasi dagang in Kesom, which is walking distance away. We had their meatloaf, not what i expected, find it just ok

the bread pudding looks kinda bad as the whole piece is very dense and compact. But as I eat, it kind of grew on me, it is not overly sweet, and you will just take a bite after another, kinda comfort food. While we are eating, notice an uncle walked in, and i think he is an usual customer, as the waiter knew what he want to order, a whole piece of steak or something, not sure what it is that it is having, but it should be delicious enough for him to want to eat it, even by himself.

Overall, a nice lovely environment, must try!

There is not many choice of bakery/cafe near The Strand in Kota Damansara, and we end up going to Dreamz Bakery which is located in upper floor of a row of shop. Not bad, can try.

I used to frequent Juice Works quite a fair bit, and even got their member card, but recently i have been going to Juiceee. They only have 3 branches, ie in The Gardens Mall, Amcorp mall and Atria Shopping Gallery. My recent discovery of what could be my most favourite drink is their Avocado Dew: Full cream milk, honey dew, avocado, ice cream, sorbet and some ice. I normally opt to be without ice cream and sorbet

So yum! Try it, and use offpeak for 20% off, an XL cost only RM10.30 with discount, taking into account how expensive avocado can be, this is quite a deal. I tried Jusco’s food court Avocado milk – too lil avocado, and Isetan’s is just too expensive – about RM20. This is got to be the best Avocado milk drink, i will normally ask them to blend milk + honey dew + ice first, then adding avocado towards the end, for the creamy drink with bits of yummy avocado… They are very generous with avocado – for the Garden’s Mall branch at least, not sure about other 2 branches. So good! 🙂

Use Offpeak for 20% off Juicee anytime!
