Thanks to Vincent of Jessie Diners, i get to have a taste of their offerings. This shoplot was previously occupied by Santino’s Pizza, and now it is being revamped to Jessie Diners which offers more varieties of food, including pizza, spaghetti, and also briyani rice which is available Tuesdays and Friday only. This may sound weird that a pizza place is offering briyani, but once i heard it is prepared by their Pakistani/Bangladeshi chef, umm… it sounds like a very promising briyani.

Jessie Diners is located in Pusat Perdagangan IOI (IOI Business Park), it is quite an obscure location, it is across the highway from IOI Mall, Puchong, normally we will pass this by without even noticing what is in this building. This building is mostly office building, with them being the sole dining establishment here.

For veggie lover, there is a few pizza choices: Margherita pizza <pizza sauce, tomato, basil leave, cheese>, vegetable galore pizza <green pepper, onion, tomato, black olives, mushroom, pineapple cheese>, cheesy delight <blend of 4 types of cheese: Parmesan, mozzarella, cheddar and edam cheese> & Mixed fruit pizza <marinara sauce, mixed fruit and mozzarella cheese>

JessieDiners3

JessieDiners4

They have pizza combo options for up to 8 person

JessieDiners5

ice lemon tea, great that it is not too sweet 🙂

JessieDiners6

really like this Greek salad, only RM9.90, and filled with so much vegetables and topped with salty feta cheese. Yum~ It is lined with cucumber cube at the bottom, layer with onion, black olives, green capsicum. Plus point for being big portion as well.

JessieDiners7

Garlic bread, RM6.90, with appetizing sour cream dip.

JessieDiners8

Hula Haiwaiian pizza with pineapple, turkey ham and chicken, RM12.90 for 6-inch small size

JessieDiners9

And this is quite good, surprisingly! Mix fruit pizza 10-inch regular size for RM27.90. It contains marinara sauce, mixed fruit <peach, lychee, diced pear etc> and mozzarella cheese. I wasn’t expecting much and this fruit pizza thing sounds too weird, but surprisingly it works. The slightly sweet juicy fruit paired well with the savoury marinara sauce and cheese. Go try!

JessieDiners10

And now the little one will definitely be attracted by their offering of ice cream in cupcake form.

JessieDiners11

My niece actually gave a rating of 40 stars, four-zero for this ice cream over the main food, oh well, what to expect of a 6-year-old… RM5.90 for this

JessieDiners12

This is their secret item off the menu, thank you Vincent for giving us this for takeaway. Guess what this is? At first look, it looks like BBQ sauce…. But this is chocolate cheese pizza with optional chili flakes as topping. They just recently done testing this recipe and it is not in their regular menu, they are planning to offer this as a seasonal offering, like for Christmas etc. At the mean time, if you wish to try this item, just tell them, and they can make this for you. This is definitely unique, perhaps could substitute as a birthday cake, RM35.90 for 12-inch large size. Do eat this while it is piping hot or fridge cold, it is not as good when it is room temp 😉

JessieDiners13

Buy 2 large pizza(Classic) for RM39.90 or 2 regular pizza(Classic) for RM29.90

They have delivery service and also ample eating area available. Minimum delivery order is RM35. Parking is in basement of the building, i think it is RM2 for first 3 hours.

Beef noodle

MimiNguyen3

Another beef noodle, we ordered 2 type, 1 non spicy, whereas the other spicy, not much difference in taste though, both are good

MimiNguyen4

fatty pork with bread, just okay

MimiNguyen5

fried springroll

MimiNguyen6

this is not in the menu, i think it is called Banh Xeo, basically a savoury fried pancake with pork etc inside, had this in Vietnam trip, and turn out they can make this to  order even though it is not in the menu. Yummy, just stay out of one of the herb by the side, taste reallllly bad, really, i mean the herb.

MimiNguyen7

mince pork in bittergourd, quite good, like yong tau foo

MimiNguyen8

this mini pancake with prawn / minced pork is good as well

MimiNguyen9

take note of the herb on the top right corner, this is the one that taste really bad

MimiNguyen10

avocado shake, surprisingly nice

MimiNguyen11

Vietnamese drip coffee

Nice food, must order are beef slice noodle, banh xeo savoury pancake – not in menu, and mini pancake.

lots of pretty looking pastry/dessert

TTDI_Dotty_2

TTDI_Dotty_3

TTDI_Dotty_4

salted egg yolk dessert, only slightly sweet, can taste the savoury salted egg, quite nice actually. They are well prepared for the crowd trickling ever so steadily to eat or pack their salted egg yolk cronut, as i see trays and trays of salted egg yolk coming out from the kitchen starting from about 3:30pm, so no need to rush, they seem to prepare enough of it. It is quite expensive at RM11 a piece

TTDI_Dotty_5

there is some salted egg yolk filling inside as well

TTDI_Dotty_6

salted egg yolk doughnut, kinda prefer the previous one where the filling was more runny

TTDI_Dotty_7

mushroom sandwich, okay

TTDI_Dotty_8

spaghetti, okay

TTDI_Dotty_10

pastry chef breaking up salted egg to get the yolk~

Snowflake Taiwanese Dessert

Snowflake2

too sweet, supersweet until did not manage to finish it!

Snowflake

Hot beancurd with yam – customized one, i think the normal toppings are tapioca pearls etc

Actually quite good, although it is quite off putting to see them putting this hot tau foo fa dessert into the microwave to heat it up before sending them my way. This dessert come in hot or cold version, but the touhua is seen only in “cold” form in their kitchen. When you order the hot version, they would have to microwave it to make it hot :S Quite delicious nonetheless, try it!
