Overall, it is like a mini hotel, and breakfast area is small and food limited, although the nasi lemak is quite nice, won’t revisit

we visited on December 2024. Overall, the environment feels quite old fashioned, but they are doing some renovation on their residence wing while we was there, not sure it should be completed by now.

overall, don’t think will revisit as the hotel is dated (although spacious) and breakfast is okay, nothing memorable.

While we were there, we went to non halal food court in misvalley, nearby California fitness, the oyster omelette is very yum

As you can see, the wooden flooring next to pool is very old. And seating next to pool is limited as well

Overall dont think I will revisit Dorsett Grand Subang nor Hartamas, read more below. But think may try their Putrajaya and KL ones in future due to they have 26-hour stay open when you book via the hotel’s website (pay slightly more to stay 26 hours, meaning can check in 3pm, then check out next day 5pm)

We had nice tomato soup with cheese toast and also a ok ok Pistachio paris brest in Orito nearby, i would have prefer the pistachio filling to be more creamy and slight softer.

The room layout is very dated, the breakfast is not bad. Their swimming pool is open till 10pm!

their breakfast is quite terrible, ie the whole area is small and the tables are jam packed, due to this, think we wont revisit. Other than that it is quite great, we went on a room with Club access with coffee machines, some cookies, and dinner 6-7:30pm, the selection is small, but they are some tasty items and enough to fill our tummy, and there is a large park (with artsy vibe) nearby where we went for a walk the next morning,

1. Iron House cafe Food are yummy, did try their curry pork nasi lemak as well which is large portion and yummy 2. More Yogurt. Not bad, can try, but still prefer Yoomi in midvalley which has more sourish yogurt taste

we had a few staycation on end of 2023. Amari hotel location is not bad, can walk to Gardens Mall/midvalley. Gardens Hotel and Boulevard would be my choice if it weren’t for my company got corporate rate for Amari (around RM400 all inclusive of taxes). Those other 2 hotel would b more convenient, as the Amari hotel walking distance is a bit far.

the thing I like about Amari is their buffet, with a few nice fresh fruit juices with can be rare for rm400-ish hotel. Pastries are nice and choice abundant

Above is breakfast before we checked into Amari. We had breakfast in Antipodean misvalley. So yummy and portion huge, their mushroom soup below very yummy as well 

One thing I dislike is the hotel view we gotten is quite bad, all block by residential tower

Tapao from Alexis, very yummy!! Piping hot as well. Price is expensive but very yumm
